  1. I know he was a recent 1st, but the reports I've seen said he's not even a PS guy.
  2. 7 was the magic number (I doubt it will be in 24 hours)
  3. Panthers and RBs, sooooo farr behind the times. You can say the same for MLB. Rams 2day gave their starting young 130 tac MLB for nothing since they didn't want to pay MLBs. Panthers have vastly overpaid and over drafted RBs and MLB since the 2000s. First draft of Morgans career he invested 2nd and 3rd rounder on the two most de-value spots. Same old panthers.......
  4. New Gm and O staff. Honestly around 40% turn overs are normal these days. Its just part of the NFL. Each year you have 7-8 draft picks along with UDFAs. Then add in another 10 FAs and you got the 40%
  5. He took my guy Ricky lees spot. I think there a chance some team claims Lee. He was a good LT project and stayed with the the 53 all of 23.
  6. Thurman and Ray were here last year. Their wasn't much drop-off went they played. I think both logged around 300 snaps.
  7. I didnt check and just got to see some of the league cuts, was there a C name cut?
  8. All three could be gone in 24 hours, in fact id say they will be.
  9. Broncos keep asking reporters to say they are looking at the markets for old WR Tim Patrick and a RB that's bounced around the league in RB Samaje Perine Why does Ian rapoport take their money and report that trash.
  10. https://www.nfl.com/stats/player-stats/category/kickoff-returns/2023/REG/all/kickreturnsaverageyards/DESC Blackshear was 13th, but players above him were not regular returners and flukes. It does seem among the normal returners, he was 6th overall with a 26.9 average. 12 out of his 16 returns were 20+ yards. That's petty dang good and the new KO makes him more valuable since there will be more returns. I think he's a near lock, unless Im totally missing something.
  11. Im being real- bounce year for sanders. Boone was impressive too, but I don't see him on the 53, I feel he's a prime-time PSer. For sure Blackshear has returner skills, he was 6th in KO average (I believe, Ill check). He a decent 3rd down RB as well.
  12. I've honestly never seen him play, but panthers are running with 330 LBers at DEs. Both are bigger than the NT..... You maybe on to a bad scheme fit as the reason. I did hear evero talk about liken the new added A'Shawn Robinson would be key to stopping the run and he replaced Williams whom was in the 290 range. So I may be wasting everyone time with tossing his name out there. He was the best name Ive seen waived thus far and still young, still TJ Smith has made panthers 2024 6th expendable.
  13. MHS call the EMS, in my insane panther prediction for 2024.......... Inches will become Miles again and gain close to 1,000 yards!!!
  14. KC cut former Dallas 2021 2nd rounder CB Kelvin Joseph. I was a fan and boy o boy did he fall off, KC and Dallas did a player swap. He may still have some of that draft appeal.
  15. dallas waived their 2023 4th rounder DT villami fehoko. I should say he's a 3-4 end. https://www.nfl.com/prospects/viliami-fehoko-jr./32004645-4861-8217-1d00-cf690e1c911e As much as I hate to say, one of the best drafting teams in the last ten years is Dallas.
  16. If you wait until the deadline the contract will be around 4 million and more teams are able to take that on for a playoff push.
  17. They are on different listing- Brano is "Active/Physically Unable to Perform" Brooks is "Active/Non-Football Injury" I honestly don't know the details about either. In past years if you begun the off-season on PUP and seasons start and you're still on "PUP" you are six weeks away from practice. Then like the IR, you enter the "active" period and have 21 days to be ready for the team. If you do not get on a roster, you revert back to IR/PUP. Brooks maybe the pick for this new rule. I know it feels they will for sure list Dane Jackson on IR pre-season to return. NFL went from never changing rules to non-stop tweaks and total new ones. I honestly just learnt about the new IR ones and don't know how that applies to PUP.
  18. I was typing in 2025 regards about AT. In that post of yours, you were discussing the future 2025 WR room. I posted that sportac link and there's a out where its only 5mill dead and 8mill cap. So you save 3mill(not if you include his replacement...). This year based on his contract, you almost must keep him and if some team calls during the trade deadline.....take whatever the offer is.... Mostly roster building is now a constant rebuild, the WR room will need action here. Just the 39th in 22, 32nd in 23, and what another 35th in 24.......someone please step up!! ps, check out the the new IR rules. I posted a new thread here, you are able to place 2 players on IR after the final PS game and final cut. In past you had to keep them one day on the roster before. I fill panthers will take advance of this new rule to the max this year.
  19. I may have the lot, but its in bits This year the NFL is allowing teams to put two players on injured reserve ahead of the final cutdowns that they can designate for return later on in the season. Those two distinctions need to be made during the final cuts, those being the cuts that are made between the end of the final preseason game and the aforementioned roster deadline, as opposed to moves made earlier in the preseason. (you got to think Dante Jackson will be used here....maybe Crumedy as well) While each player may be designated for return twice a season, a team is allowed just eight returns from IR during the regular season. In the latest adjustment to the rule, a team appearing in the postseason will be allowed 10 returns that year. (panthers postseason lols) Old refresher - Most of the rules remain the same. Once a player is placed on the list, they must miss at least four of the team’s games. While on IR, they are not counted on the team’s active roster — although their compensation is still counted against the salary cap. After four games, a player may be designated to return, which opens a 21-day window during which they can attend practices but are still not counted on the active roster. If they are not activated to the roster during this period, they must remain on IR for the rest of the season. Roster nerds take note.....
  20. Don't tell anyone, but I think Moton could be cut as well.....Id cut him if he didn't take a pay cut in 2025. Hes at 30 million cap number and 12 dead....that's 18 saving..... Sanders is 100% getting cut unless he goes for 2k. Morgan will have PLENTY to think about in 25, many tough/hard decisions. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/carolina-panthers/overview/_/year/2025/sort/cap_total I think he's going to have close to 30 again in dead cap space.
  21. I get that and agree. I just feel this team is a terrible fit for him, ie winning. He had some comments about the past year being the worst and he had to do some soul searching. It doesn't make sense form a contract side. I've thought of it, but its a total nightmare fuel.....imagine 2023 WITHOUT AT........Panther would have owned some of worst records in history.
  22. He's knows the defense holes and he just sits in them or runs a old man slant, *still very well. I'd say its time to move on sooner than later. Honestly if not for cap hit, Id say cut him now....... (that's the heartless GM side.) Panthers should do better than 35 year old 5.09 40 dude with a 8mill cap hit.
  23. He's simply too slow, age already pulling on his ankles. If you still want to keep him around, give him some BS coaching title and let him coach up the WRs. It already feels 2025 the 1st or 2nd will be spent on WR.......
  24. I don't know if its the homer in me or what. I thought the Panthers would claim around 5 players and going over the roster.......I see about 3 guys that....most likely to get cut and claimed by another team. Where's the room??? OLB is the hole, is leota better than what's hitting the wavier?? He was a claim last year. Hate away, the OL feels as strong as its been since 2015*health is needed and what can yoshi do?? I think Brady Christensen is only panthers backup that would start on a few teams. Carry on....
  25. I think AT gets cut - https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/player/_/id/13071/adam-thielen I don t see Johnson coming back. Just WR market is as crazy as its been, some team will drop him a bag even with a so-so season. I think he flirts with 1K and few TDs. Honestly its looking like WR is back on the early draft menu. Edge should be #1, if young........ you are leftd with this in 2025 mingo xl 2025 second rounder FA Coker? ???? looks messy if xl or mingo doesn't develop FAST!!
