  1. Ive heard he doesnt play politics well at all once he becomes GM. He even has a hard time getting hired by the sports circle. I think hes self-employed currently, but its a guess. Theres just not many former GM willing to talk to the public, thats a big reason he has my ears.
  2. Dang Juan just put some bad juujuu on Walker, withing 13 minutes you will be getting a call form his agent!! Theres no clear #1, thats the main reason for the Walker hype. Dawgs DL was maybe the best in recent history, it was if you included Jermaine Johnson who is also RED hot in on the hype train. Theres talk that Johnson will be a top 5, some like him more than Aidan Hutchinson(fyi I do, i got the lowest opinion on hutch). Walker just has the numbers, interviews well, size, combine, and willing to do the dirty work for his teammates glory...thats rare for 2022. Walker is better than Hutch and saner than Kayvon.
  3. He is right, hell I said that months ago...maybe thats why I like the guy, we share the same thoughts time-2-time. But I dont see how a LT will save Rhule either........ I still keep seeing the "experts" mocking QBs to the panthers, smart in-touch guys...its weird.. Again hot seat coaches drafting early QB is not the way to build a NFL team. QB opinions heavily vary on most QBs. Member our great Marty Herniay having Will "IG influ" Grier rated higher than Kyler Murray..... what a joke.
  4. Walker does change the draft, Ive heard if jags pass, lions are all over him...heard the same about texans. His agent is doing a great job, but I do believe hes going before 6. I just hope some team is dumb enough to draft a QB before 6 as well....that would greatly help the Inky/Neal fall.
  5. Think about the book he could write......Hes had like 8 life terms and just hit 60, Cam, hardy, richardson, all the LBs, dave getting fired 8 days before training camp, 9 times turned down for HC, fixing poor Ds, I know Im missing plenty too. His brothers cancer.....him having cancer afterwards. SB50 15 wins str....
  6. Matt Lombardo @MattLombardoNFL The buzz about Travon Walker going No. 1 to the #Jaguars is very real. Have heard from a GM and a couple of scouts who love his athleticism and think he's who Jacksonville is zeroing in on. #NFL 4:13 PM · Apr 11, 2022
  7. Only in america can you go from a wfnz coffee runner to a million dollar+ job. He does the draft well and always pushes the numbers before it is popular. Doesnt hurt him being a real panther fan either.
  8. For some reason I never gave the same standards to Lombardi as other gas bags. I guess its rare to hear form a former GM and that guy was in the same room as Bill for a few years. He does get a couple things wrongs, but hard for me to overlook the insight. He does feel like hes always trying to sound smarter than he is. Plus I do think Im a sucker for his stories.
  9. Feels like theres plenty of support for a new business model, just go steal a bunch of teslas and when you get caught get be like " whatever hes rich, he can afford to let me have 10 " DA will allowed its since its backed by public opinion.
  10. False. Ridder is red hot right now, talk of him being the 2nd QB taken. Feels like he is going to in the 1st now. So that would make 4 in the first. Few teams are saying he is the best interviewer among QBs. Howell is falling hard. Seems i was right about him being the 7th best QB, in fact that maybe too high.
  11. How on earth are you filming yourself?? You done fuged up if youre doing that, that high is in control. Never got/understood that.
  12. I think hes got a podcast thing, I think its the one Sam went on. Dam youtube, you watch the wrong and get nothing but those in your page now. Thats how I came to hes a podcaster, cause i clicked the wrong box and now I see face all over......
  13. I have to think the Browns must pay 50-75% of his contract in order to get a late round pick, sorta like with the Teddy deal with the panthers.... If Browns do that and Baker is 8 million for a 2024 7th....Im up for a gamble. Panthers would only be paying the QB room around 30 million in total, thats not too bad......if you dont look at the names....
  14. Some good, no great news is excellent to hear!! Sad to see the old sax leave, but people do evolve. I feel the pain of this panther team, as do others. Theres some light in this tunnel, we will get over this and be better.
  15. Panthers needed JAGs. This method doesnt work if you already have sound/great team, cause all those extra picks will be cut. Panthers were not that before the draft. I still feel it may go down as one of the best in panthers history. The coming season will show whats in store. Just having two starters and a top backup is a successful draft, I think this group will do much better.
  16. Bro you of allllllll people should know ripp is hamming it up to the max with his man-love for Strong. Why are YOU picking this to get serious about??? Is your chemical balance where it needs to be? Very odd, hope you are well...
  17. At the time(during the draft) when the first trade happened, I didnt agree. The more the trading took place, I started to understand and by the time the 5th round rolled around.... They where able to draft Nixon, Taylor and followed with Smith and Brown.......... I truly was on board, just was not use to this method and didnt see the whole picture til the near finish. For sure Finesser improved the draft class that year and added the first 4th this year. He walked into a casino full of sharks with 1,000 and came out with 1,573. Not bad for a first time. I did want to keep the 2nd and draft Liam Eichenberg...... Figured he was the best true LT left and panthers still need one today. Issue is only one team had worse OL than the panthers and that was Miami.......who drafted Liam......who also played LG after bouncing around.....so..... Could it have been different if landed else where, sure...but thats a rough start. Luckily I dont judge until year2.
  18. 4th round is looking ______ each passing day....
  19. I doubt the NFL follows this has been going on for 20+ years.
  20. I buy that. Maybe the biggest skill is being able to play hurt/sore/busied/etc. Every single player has injuries, its those who are able to keep the high levels while hurt. Theres a few get a sprain or sore, then play falls off a cliff.
  21. This is my "QB sandwich" I keep having a hard time draft ILB.....
  22. I do believe trading back is the way, I got some real doubts Finesser can pull it off.
  23. He was the classic look like tarzan play like jane.
  24. They are right and I agree. Give him no more excuses and see if he can overcome maybe the worst 4 year OL start to ones career. Its alllll the hope I got left, pleeeeease bump ANY Darnold thread when they first traded for him......Its me in there calling him the worst proven QB and panthers may have the worst overall QB room. I did see the first round talent, his mental game is my greatest fear...
