  1. The best solution to the QB puzzle, is Matt Corral. Hes under contract control for 4 years at 5 million total....... I listen to a few panther reports and one was feeling was "Ive learned not to over-hype rookie camp and such" "ive seen the highlights and heard the reports about his lighting release, in person it felt faster and the fastest Ive ever seen, like a blur". I liked him just the same as the other 2 QBs, would be a gift if he turns out to be a legit NFL QB. FYI- Sam Darnold has never played a full season, so at some point Corral may get to start.
  2. I honestly need to go back and watch some more Baylor games and focus on the DL. I think Snow is going to push more of it this year and I dont know if this DL can do what is needed. QB, I mean Rhule had made big mistakes here*BUT* You know Stafford, Watson, and Wilson were all big targets and Stafford deal already had paperwork being process. They have tried, just been turned down too. I already said how nice it would be if a another Jake happened, that was so magical looking back. Im mainly "fine" with the QB deal cause of all the success Mccadoo had.
  3. Its headed in the right direction, nearly all the talent here is 26 or below. Not too worried about QB spot, next year is another (well lining up) QB draft and the free agent pool have plenty of interesting names..... Plus I have not fully tossed Darnold in the trash. I fuging hate this microwave type of living now, about 'I need it RIGHT NOW!!". Corral is here and has a skill set that can translate into a legit NFL QB. One of my main deals is Im all for DL. I want to feel better about it than I do, awful young.....need some young players to ascend and help Burns who needs help on stopping the run.... Id hope Rhule signed a younger DL coach given the group, I doubt the DL coach doesnt step down while in the burg....hes done it before. I do really like the team speed, I think its the fastest 53 or 90 in the league.
  4. Id see no no issue starting Foreman or Hubbard a few times this year if needed. Brown does need some reps in PS, even CMC said he learned a move or two from him. Darius Bradwell is name to watch for if RB is your main deal, he looks like a current NFL and had 2 years on chargers PS. Finally RB is one of the better spots to farm cuts, not even in my top 15 in depth worries.
  5. I think you dont even need quality, just decent/average and panthers would be a dangerous team. *provided the young defensive reach their potential and became a TO machine. Plus CMC stayed healthy and solved red zone woes. I do feel the ST group will win a couple games this year, while not losing any.
  6. He will apply the seat belt to olvaries with Aimis Jameis throwing the ball!!
  7. Lets see here- you ask for names I trusted. I give you a few names, none included Ian Rapport. You ask for top 2, I gave them, none included Ian Rapport. You ask about Ian, I answer saying hes Hes been covering the NFL for what 15 years and NFL network lead insider for most of that, thus I call that a vet. He can be a vet and awful at the same time, or is that impossible? You highlight some Watson Baker trash, form a reporter- I didnt list, nor a big fan of, dont trust, and call awful but a vet.. Brother this is some TRASH type of "gotchu" game you are playing after i was trying to help.....
  8. I finally figured you and others out. You have confused Tepper hate for Rhule hate. That is it!! You think Rhule would be the first coach in NFL history not to hire his bros, drinking friendos, and long-time coaching friends? O my, you know better. Tepper- "I want you to build my team" Rhule- "I get to have full control of hiring...."(before he finishes) Tepper- "DONE". Cutting Cam and Olsen was the right move, even if you will not admit that. Picking 2 gloves, wrong among other mistakes. Still until you come up with a few names..... NO one just one name that had the journey Rhule had as 1st time NFL coach.... The fact remains- hardest start in NFL history.
  9. Thanks captain mo, youre one of the good heart people in the world!
  10. Look I do not care for him, but why is the standard now "YOU MUST BE A GOD ONE YEAR OR TRASH"?? Not long ago newbies were able to find their barrings and improve year after year. Romo comes in and is legit good right out of the gate(mainly cause he can predict the plays due to sitting in on team meetings). Now you must be 61 year old John Madden day one? WTF is that BS???
  11. bugs, you got to be feeling this OL, right? Im talking soup to nuts, talent, depth, youth, coach, etc.
  12. Anyone form the Raptors worth a look, or the Heat...... I going to stop there because my NBA IQ is rusty as all hell.
  13. Quickly tell me what I need to want and pray for!!
  14. Pissed off..... Thats a killer for someone like him too, given his age......hate to go here- maybe its a sign to take his talents else were.
  15. He chose them *before* the NFL changed the league rules. Or youre going to believe Rhule know he wasnt getting any hands on practices?? Even the draft process was totally different. If you've been in the league for 20 years and had a vet team, youd had it easy compared to someone like Rhule. When you have 54 million in dead cap, it forces you to play lesser players, lose good players(bradberry), and cut good players (cam and olsen). Same HUGE dead cap next year as well. Atl screwed that up with flirting with Watson, even Ryan said that publicly. Not like the coach signed there with the plan of cutting ryan, in fact he wanted to build around Ryan if you listen to pressers. Rhule is big lair and made more than few mistakes, especially at QB....BUT I ask again who had it harder as a first time NFL coach?? It is not RR, Fox, or Asmith...... nope not in the same galaxy. Campers had the panthers in the NFC championship game in year 2 due to the NFL giving too much help, so its not him either....btw jags did the same.
  16. Its early brother, the top three can save the class. Im not ready to toss them out. You know the 3 year deal with DE, well its YGM time(I agree he done near nothing) . Brown had a good rookie season and took two steps back year 2. It was a lame move, but Chinn was the ROTY. PERIOD! Not 6(?) sack, missing games, little impact Chase Young. Roy is a solid depth and its a need. STO is a core STer, again feels a need. Bump this post after the season no matter what happens, we will see you changes their tune.
  17. I can not pull the "I told you so" when we agree fully. Is it too out there to think Sam can have more than 3,204 yards, 19 TDs, and 61.9% comp???.... with less than 13 INTs? You understood my thoughts, now is that a insane prediction given hes never played a full season, 4 years of poor OL(maybe the worse during those 4) and poor coaching.... If you want to say hes too much like David Carr, well I can not defend that, cause I also feel that is the biggest issue. But this is best chance hes had in 5 years, if hes able to re-wire his brain and keep his health....I like the odds and Im a panther fan and not a Sam hater.
  18. AAron Wilson and adam Schechter. Now Wilson had a issue on radio not long ago and almost got the cancel stamp. Schechter has a bullseye cause his wording not being approved by _______ . Personally check out Steve Logan, hes different. Type to pick a bottle of wine with guitar and sing alll night in between breaking down Bill Walsh plays. He is one of the very that pulls back the curtain and tells the untold stories/thoughts. Ian gets to read the NFL faxs first, personally a not big fan, but hes a proven vet. Lost my trust years back from being awful. I drop him during his "WOW" phase, it was a corn ball Owen Wilson derp.
  19. No clue, he must be a freelancer thats doesnt listen to orders. I viewed him as a real playmaking Safety. I know JC horn said hes the hardest hitting DB too. Just Rhule and crew being firm about some weirdo BS "dont beat yourself" trash I bet. Like you can not tell me Chandler is a better S......nope not buying that trash thinking. Like the posters above said, he has been on PS and open to league, that means something is up...I bet Rhule/coaches tell others hes not worth the trouble. I want real proof of that.
  20. I posted all the players lost a few posts back, if you cannt find them I will post again. Roughly entire starting DL&top depth, bradberry, luke, Cam(was wavied), Olsen(""), good depth all over. It was the largest turnover in lost stats from one year to the next. Lost close to 60% of the total stats%total snaps. He was the only HC to have a new QB, OC, and DC. Both the OC and DC never called a NFL play, didnt get ANY preseason games, OTAs, mini, or training camp to gain exp. That didnt happen until after coofus hit and the NFL voided all practices. KK was injured/overpaid. Thomas Davis left and Ryan Kalil two of leaders in the room were out during this as well. The dead cap hell, most in the first two year(some is his fault..teddy). Do you remember QB holding illegal practices?? Teddy could not throw to his new teammates until couple weeks before the start of the season. When from the one of the oldest teams to the youngest within 2 years. If you want the detail list of players, I can find it. Panthers were a bottom 3 team at best, during the very beginning of Rhules start and old.....Youre not believing the ESPN worst team trash are you?? Id dare to test ANY team in the NFL that has more roster speed than panthers, hope that leads to wins...
  21. One day you will have to post a pic of that. Ive retired before and got offered too much to say no. I got to do a little traveling before i go blind or lose my hearing... Funny deal is a retirement firm is buying the land, but again triangle prices have gone crazy, so staying local is out of the question. I dont have much to worry with missing much, no roots.
