  1. Only to fans with the football insight to blindly support trading for Sam "durRrr" Darnold before and weeks afterwards..
  2. I think its just toooo much or just a bad timing or wrong to use early draft resources on a QB form this group. This isnt a cream draft and its lacks QB talent too. Maybe 20+ players form last years draft Id take before anyone in this draft, including 5 QBs. I think the Minshews, Bakers types are the best form of improving the QB spot this year. I do feel the LT is petty deep and Campen has right about there being a few decent LT options late in the draft. Edge and OT are the best groups, QBs are the worst.
  3. Jordan needs to build Mitch a 50 statue as a thank you to pulling him form the worst owner label that was right. Between 7-59(which is still the worst win/loss% in NBA history), Adam "_____" Morrison, Kwame Brown, DeSagna Diop, awful trades, past poor attendance....He was the worst. Mitch saved him by having enough balls to say "no" to his face along with doing supreme drafting in both rounds each year. I think this past year was only the 4th time in MJs 20 years that the bobcats/hornets had a winning record. Hes around .420 win%, wwwoooooffffffff....
  4. The whining has not stopped for the past 6 months. At one point there were 10 weekly threads repeating the same drool - Matt rhule sucks, matt rhule is fat, matt rhule is stoopid.....
  5. They already signed 2 other QBs in brissett and dobbs. Both have started games, mayfield is not part of any browns plans.
  6. I never got a good read on Cross. Plays are almost over by the time he engaged the defender. Tony has real draft sources and has been in the draft game before it got mainstreamed. The olllllllld thought about teaching pass block vs run block, nearly all say teaching passing is much harder. Run blocking can be greatly improved by simply doing weight-room lifts over&over til you get stronger. Pass is heavily technique-based with lots of foot work.
  7. @Icege you want to do another one. David Ojabo tore his achilles during his pro-day. Personally I have huge doubts Jermaine Johnson falls to 15th and 1-3 edges to start would be a first. Still looks just as good as the others.
  8. No no.....the best highest value is 4th-UDFA. This is maybe the only drat in recent history where Id trade a bunch of 4s, 5s, 6s for a earlier pick. The UDFA group should be the best form the last 10 years. 2nd rounders are still far above the 4th-UDFA group. Just more draft-able players in this years mainly due to coofus effect.
  9. Jets call the panthers and offer the 10th, 69, and 111 for the 10th pick? Is that enough? I mean personally theres no difference between 6 and 10 in this 2022 rating wise. Ravens, viking, and others can offer there 1st (10-18) picks plus 2nd rounders and late rounders for the 6th.....Why wouldnt you do that if a group of seven players are rated the same? I could take a different approach next year. Honestly the meat part of the draft is 4th-UDFA...
  10. Ive been to many places across the globe......Im here to tell you NC is among the top 3.
  11. good as any others. always a fan of anyone that sports that avatar @davos One part I can pick apart is Garrett Wilson WR Ohio State, he could /should go top 5, but waaaaay before 15th. The league changed this off-season for WR value. WRs have the QB deal of being over-valued now... Move up all WR including the bama Jameson Williams who should go top 10 even with a ACL in the bowl game......
  12. Lets say you have 8 players rated in the 60-63 group. Couple teams phone you up and one offers couple later picks plus their 100th pick to move up to 88? Isnt the smart move to take the offer? Once 100 comes you still have 3 players(since no boards are the same) left to pick form the 60-63 group, plus you got 197 and 215. Seems simple to me....
  13. Scot-irish reporting. Well Mother was 100% Glasgow scot and father was scot-irish. Small background. Farther served and no man in the multi-platoon groups could take the 6'2 225 man or "boss" his given nickname form enlisted during bull in the ring. Ive done some contract work for the air force, maybe another time. NC polar bear was one of mine nicknames..... I will be 110% honest with you and all other real Americans. The agenda driven message being spread in the military with their lower standards and re-writing history.......... ALL of you better pray to all the 3,000+ gods that drones, lasers, and robotics are fully ready come next war. No matter what the elite brain-washing has done theres ONLY one group/type that I want on the field of battle next to me. Hint was given first.....
  14. I blame hernaiy for most of that, he never never believed in a true rebuild ala stock pile picks.....he always thought his team had a opportunity. I think they lost nearly 60% of the total snaps and stats......huge loss no matter the coach. 2023 should be a better QB draft, but Im no future teller. Rhule QB decisions have been painful, wish stanford agreed to come and it would have saved the Sam Darnold trade... dem the brakes.
  15. Going to be cool that thrusday, pack a jacket! I brought some RRR (rich&rare reverse) on special. No food until I caught my buzzz. I think the draft starts at the panthers pick, if they trade back, I will stay til the whiskey wins. If they make a pick, re-watch the new batman movie.....it was bad the first time..
  16. Its not talked about, but i think next years cap is in the red right now. Thats without a QB..........one solution is a rookie QB salary is awful low... The debate about Quality prospect over quantity, is one of those never ending ones like poor people and climate. For me I look at the roster, if its a deeeeep proven team- gimme the quality. If is not- gimme the quantity. Simply put panthers need quantity.
  17. Id 100% draft him in the top ten. Plus gutt-busting LOLLLOLOLOL at thinking he should come off the field. He may have had the most impressive combine in history and all his SEC snaps were havoc. I think he needs to be doubled week 1. If he doesnt go top ten, the league has failed.
  18. If pickett is drafted by the panthers, Im blaming you......
  19. hubby how are spending draft day? like food and booze wise?
  20. I think a big part is the team has more than 1 hole to fill. And about the only way to get more picks is trading that 6th. If you look at most drafts, trading comes to end after the begining of the 4th.......which the panthers have pick 137 thats 31 away form the start. That late 4th has nearly no trade value. So unless Burns/Brown/______ is getting moved(ultra rare on draft day), the only means to add multiple lotto tickets is trading the 6th overall for a teams 1st, 2nd, and 6th. Ick and Neal may not be there and Cross for me is not worth 6th overall when a stud edge is there.
  21. What if the LT has a 88 rating and the DE has a 96 rating? Who do you pick? Plus who is replacing reddick as a starter? Haynes???
  22. Rhule is rewarding his most loyal coach........ I can already see the huddle will be in 180% bitach mode if D is drafted at 6.
  23. You got some good ideas/thoughts. Hou and where Stingley go are wildcards. About the only locks for me in the top 5 are Sauce and Hutch, Im polar-opposite in my love/hate for each. Sauce is all love and I got Hutch as like the 7th best DE/edge. Still teams picking love him and thats what matters. I think the Jets *could trade form 10th to 6th. If you look at the chart all it cost the jets is their 3rd and 4th....... I do not think there much of a differece form 6-10. Thats like #41 possible out-comes for the panthers. Ravens and Viking number wise match up with the panthers as trade up (both 1st and 2nd+ late) The bama WR is another wildcard- seen him going form 5-30. coming off a recent acl injury, but hes waaaay ahead by all reports. Panthers truly are the real wildcard and that is where the draft really starts imo. Id say that with not being a panther fan.
  24. If that happens........... I dont even want to think about it. Side note- I honestly believe the first pick should be Sauce. Hes the biggest, longest, freakshow of an athlete in this draft. WR jumped up to #2 in money behind QB, CB can stop both of them. He should be the first pick. I have enough balls to take a CB 1st overall. Panthers-wise, just the feel is no smart teams are willing to trade into the top ten.....so if youre a clear BPA team and Johnson, walker or Thibs are there. Low-key panthers need a Reddick replacement just as much as they need a LT with Christ/Erv on the team.
