" GET YOUR JUICE BACK UP!!" Ive seen Rhule talk in front of players, much different tone/energy. Rhule in front of reporters gives off unsure vibes and constantly worried about offending someone. Carolina reporters are among the softest reporters out there. Joe is about the only asking edgy injury type questions, everyone else fails in line. No joke mccado could help rhule with these pressers, bobs got a good approach.
-
Rhule just seems soo nervous, like hes at court-energy. 2 Mccados interview- calm, gives the reporters enough crumbs to write a story but not too much. Answers like hes heard the question 50 times before, but doesnt give rude answers. I see why/how he won over the NYG area.
-
Dang Mccadoo is soo much better in the interview setting than Rhule.

If it was listed at 135 LBs would you buy that? Much like college these numbers are done either by a intern or coaching staff. Combine weight is most right, but these guys move all over daily. I was in strength sports and checking my weight daily- lost 18 pounds one day. Normally days around 8-10 and I wasnt doing insane stuff. At the combine I did hear Will Witherspoon drink like 2 gallons of water to get a bigger number as well(i think he hit 217). So it can go the other way as well. I think they change the weigh-ins tho, now they are done before you run to cut out some of the games... Minus Von Miller, I doubt any elite DE is 255 or lower come morning. After a long practice in 95 95 heat/hum sure...

While he does look thinner, they really are reporting a 5 LB loss on a 330 man? I think Brown played closer to 350 and hes a leaner 320 now.
-
I still member the draft thread, you, I, and others were all over trey smith even with knowing the blood clots deal. I didnt mind the Brown pick given it was a late 6th and they had the guy during senior bowl. I just wished he took his first NFL off-season serious enough to report in better shape. Main reason is, personally wanted colbert at the LG so Icky can have a young proven vet to grow with. Boz at C, motown at RT, and _______ at RG. I thought brown could fill it......

The only 4 man rush I listened to was the one you posted before. It was around 1:08 long and he also laughed about spending a pick at long snapper. Hes right as rain, you are professional now, your body is your job now. Old days, players used TC to get back in shape. Now you stay in shape year round and first OTAs you should be ready to play, not getting ready. At one point I was in strength sports and had some friends across the carolinas. Ive heard through 4th hand grape vines, Whale was a workout machine and loved the weight room. I have not heard one bread crumb about any player beasting in the weight room since Rhule was hired.

Kia Jones 2021-2022 highlights in Greensboro..
Basbear replied to WOW!!'s topic in Charlotte Hornets
Thats the way I feel too, he looks special and glad mitch drafted the kid. Jones and Ball are the way. -
I expected him in his first NFL off-season to show up in better shape, no excuse for that not to be. Hes still got a punchers chance aka one of the freaks that looks vastly out-of-shape but doesnt play that way. But me talking him up is over and I hope he is renting for his living arrangement..

Brother I seen some recent OTAs clips and my former guy Brown looked bigger than his rookie year.....the bad bigger. Im done talking him up as a sleeper RG. I want to play Corbert next to Ickey so he has a young proven vet he can grown with. That leftd RG open......and once I seen Brown, it still is.....I dont even know if he makes the team now.....

Next round of contract extensions are no joke
Basbear replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
Im in a weird spot with Burns...... 20+ million per??? Just like the CMC deal, lets some other team take that bite..... big year for spiderman, reddick out-played him for the last two years and only got 3 years 45 million. Need more than poor rush defense and having nothing after your wide speed move fails. Reach double sacks for the first time along with career highs in hurries and QB pressures. Impact the game. 8 sacks for the year and getting bullied by OTs on run plays doesnt cut it -
Josh Norman Talks about his fight with Cam

Have they turned into a drama TMZ clone machine?? Im getting old but member them years ago being genuine and filling in some gaps for the unknown public. Dang its a sad state with what "entertainment" is (get them clicks). Feels like half of youtube is reaction BS now, I member when there were none.....Im part of slow growing group that used youtube later than most....... its hit the force drama BS now, did you hear what ______ said?!?!?!?! Get that guy on and egg them on" OOOooooo I heard that!!" Then get other members to react and the og guy didnt mean for the words in that manner. Impossible to stop and Ive tired hard, people want it... -
Realistic Expectations for 4th-7th Rounders
Basbear replied to kungfoodude's topic in Carolina Panthers
I got a bad habit of overall rating the 4-7 groups. I got it in better control than the days of Gary Barnidge aka cover-2 killer(was for browns tho..). I also thought mike goodsen was going to be Kevin Faulk-clone. Thought David gettis was going to be a solid #2.... i was right about greg hardy.......didnt know his crazy side came with a side of off-field.. Joe adams would fill all KR/PR duties.....nope I liked Andre Smith as a 7th steal, at least he got the panthers a 7th in return Liked Daley, Krob in their years. LOVED all the 2021 4-7 groups minus the long safety, still got high hopes for them. Liked the high RAS 4-7 guys from this year as well. The deal is youre looking for depth here and the once a while surprise starter. They are young cheap labor to be rude. I always target DBs and OL in these rounds, 4th round TE has a huge hit rate as well. I forgot the poster, but he had a great break down of the success rate with positions -
Its got the feeling of what the 2015 one was. Those guys started the same group for the whole year, i doubt that happens. Still a new OL coach, who has bounced around recently....but worked with a few of the current coaches. Added- Bozeman- solid rock starter for ravens the last few years. OG/C Cobert- "" for the rams was the 33rd pick in 2018 draft. RG/LG Ickey- most impressive block of clay in panthers OL history. LT Mays- 25th overall HS recruit, played at georgia and Tennessee. ALL 5 Mixed that in with what was here last year and most starters are on the bench. Panthers have always seemed to be fixing the OL since 2003, except in 2015, this feels like the best group 1-10 since. If it works out it only took 19 years to get to the juiced up one...

wish NFL allowed this stuff for pre-game, Luvu would fit right in!
-
May mean CMC played a full season and the defense grew up to be a TO machine. Thats possible with just "OK"/"decent" QB play, tho unlikely.. If Mccadoo tuns either Sam or Corral into a legit QB this season, he may get a few HC interviews.... Best hope for now and future panthers is Corral, too early for me to know. Low chance, but I still like the odds given the tool-set.
-
All true and Reid is still calling plays and got all the IHOP menus of how to attack each team. Seems if Eric wants to be a HC, his best bet is college, who are paying more than NFL at a few spots... Go there and build a winner, force some NFL team to over-look alllllllll the bad past history among other questions.
-
10 is my magic number for him. 10 losses= I'll join the "fire his ass" group. 10 wins= found his 3rd year magic and the amount of eggfaced crow eating huddlers would break records. I bet even some would switch to RHule avatars and act like they always supported him.

Been to hilton head few times, very nice, too nice for me...Outer banks feeling money wise. But dont pay much to 4corn when in troll/get reaction mode.

thanks Scot!

Did those coaches lose nearly 60% of last years snaps and stats? RR and Mike were also not first time HC, NFL allows more practice time and film sessions for first time HC. I also think RR was the only one besides Rhule not to have 2019 QB starter return. Rhule lost 3 HOFers, one still in his late prime. Talent gap was wide from Browns&Blowboys to Panthers. The draft capital was wide from Giants&WTFs to Panthers. None of those teams had anywhere close to 55 million in dead cap first year, followed by another 50+ dead cap year following yr. Panthers were either the oldest or top 3 oldest during Rhules first year from 2019-2020. Last year they were the youngest, in just two years. Thats a lot of roster turnover, given the fossil team leftd for Rhule. None of those team had any of that. Try again...

That was Clay Johnston father and he was the former GB strength coach. Thats a real lost here.
