2 years is best case...... There is a decent shot at a quick 1 year fix too, given the young talent ignores dead cap. Hurts, Herbert, and rivers are ALL total different QBs and he STILL got their best years....thats a big deal to me. Honestly the only deal Id like to know, who are his top picks for coaching staff and strength coaches....panthers already got a few good ones here. Wilks if hes willing to move back to DBs, campey(dont know what is prefer, i bet its wide zone), tabor is the best ST since scotty o'brien, al could coach the LB(I doubt he stays). Just about everyone else has to go tho... especially those strength staff frauds...

This is the way. Id done my homework and Shane Steichen is now my personal front runner. Modern QB success along with giving rivers great late years. iggles O is crushing it, pick out about good stat and they are around 8th(or better). Im super old school about "fads", hiring these young O minds has bared enough fruit and no longer a fad. Minshew would be a bonus, brace thy self................. If hes the answer and panthers get just average-decent QB play it shouldnt be a 3-7 years rebuild......my thoughts about this season would transfer to 23- weak nfc south, brady, terrible coaching etc etc... and BOOM panthers are right there competing for a playoffs in year one *if steichen is a wizard and get decent QB play, the D should be good enough. He keeps Tabor, campey, _____ and hits on the strength coach and DC. Its the way, my friend!

My tank or "plan" was to let Cam play out that last year along with no crazy trading or re-signing of players. Now 20/20 and all, Cam was not worth 19 million, but none was guaranteed either....if all coaches meeting started going "this guy is done"...well take out the sissors and make a painful cut sense its clear no team would trade for him. Im ALL for winning until the math states you can make the playoffs. At that point I 180 and want to lose all the possible remaining games. I thought it would help some with QB injuries this year....... NO QB should have to play behind a OL like 2021 panthers, dumpster water bad. Even with Darnold and baker hurt, I still like the future OL with youth and control...... need some hope and thats it for me !
