  1. One of the best hires a coach can make is finding the right strength coach. Do yourself a favor and head over to panthers.com and checkout Jeremy Scotts resume.......its checks 3....I repeat 3 huge boxes.... A strength coach spends more time with the players than the HC, or any coach.....So you better pick one hell of guy.... Personally Ive been dissatisfied with the teams strength, speed, and conditioning. They always look weak with both lines getting pushed around on the reg. Rhule should have found a proven guy, not a drinking pal form a few years ago. Plus facts are nearly all the strength coaches have similar training and "secrets". I was in the strength scene for a good bit, youd been surpised at how well connected they are to one another. Zoom meetings are a normal thing now and lots is being shared. Towards the end for me, there was a couple break-thoughts as in- good quantity sleep was thought of as a PED, sooooooo much was being learned about the nervous system and its now importance(especially for max lifts), and the roid heads were finally learning the limits of insulin combined with their other PED soups.. The old stand by was it takes the roided up gym rats about 10 years to figure out the limits of new "medicines". They pay the heaviest price in doing so, but others benefit afterwards. Stem cells is alll the rage now, even for my group aka arm wrestlers. Its legal for any NFLer to go to a farrr away land and get pumped full of them.......some are liking the results... not strength-wise, but healing, skin, and recover factor. They feel healthy and younger, look it too...
  2. when was the last ST TD? Did barner house one??? Thats my best guess before I hit the bates/smitty stone age era
  3. Im not not ready to throw in the towel, even with whats been shown. In the NFL crazy things happen, I still got that hopuim.......
  4. I tried to bump some old "panthers hired rhule" threads and could not. Plus I found out huddle started back in 1969......zob use the dad memes. Someone please bump one of those threads and watch the horror show unfold...
  5. true. I thought the improved DB group would lead to more TOs........big ZERO. Plus didnt they have a slogan "gimmie 2 per game" or some poo.... Sad part is the D has been the only side keeping the score close, 22 average was enough to win both games if the O&ST would show up...
  6. Id be done with the hardcore side of being a fan. Total normie about the NBA now, and I could not name over 10 current MLBers. From my teens to mid-30s, gave lots of my free time to all the big sports, including nascar. At best Id be a far away normie NFL fan, that almost happened during the hard politically push into sports hit. Years of being a fan was the savoir, Hell this is the first time in 13 years, no fantasy of any sort. I had a 90 some win yahoo rate and won enough $$$ to fund my booze tab. Already sick of gambling being forced on me at every turn, thats the main reason I quit bars..... DVR and bounce around, cannot stand the constant " YOU WILL GAMBLE!!!!!" BS.... Ruins the joy.
  7. Rhule is still miffed as to why the offense is tired by the 4th, its one big mystery........
  8. I do not want old Herm or his band of branded coaching staff here, maybe as consultants. (max) Not caring about what jobs Rhule may run to with his tail between his legs either.
  9. Lots of reason and smart thoughts here. Huddle needs more of it. Please post more when you can.
  10. I did see rhule say " We're just a couple plays away...etc etc" Burns in a interview - "Im tired of being a couple plays away...." So their maybe something aaaaaa brewing....stay tuned. Right now it feels like the coaches are waiting for the players to make a play and the players are waiting for the coaches to make a great call. Leadership is lacking...sucks cause those were 2 games the panthers should/could have won. Once the D gets the lead, THEY MUST EITHER GIVE IT BACK OR TIE.....cannot for the life of them be ahead......O cannt even score if not for some busted coverage... hard being a fan of this.
  11. I normally avoid the huddle until tuesday after L. But checked-in, not as bad as "normal" . I tired the game day thread once, took 3 years off my life. I do the same about the game, turn everything off/do not dis and the game has my full focus.....well that and my wine glass. I didnt even join FF this yr(after many years of owning it), and not planning on hitting the bar either..... not feeling as strong about my hopuim statements, even with the close losing. the ST isnt as good as I thought too. O makes me want to close-line orphans.....
  12. Had to be zona right?? I said baker looks like darnold, and now it feels like joe brady is still OC as well...
  13. Chinn needs the full Troy Polamalu treatment or become Thomas Davis 2.4 Its that simple. If youre worried about tackling will shorten his career, go coach soccer/cricket. I can not be convinced moving your best player 30 yards away form the LOS, is doing him any favors. If woods can play on the line, just swap them out. Chinn is a play making weapon and if the roles were reversed, Im fairly sure Chinn could have changed the out-come of that game. He had a ROTY season(I refuse to say young won, BS).....He showed the world then, now its "front row seat" placement Chinn?? ugh....
  14. My god those numbers hurt and I understand
  15. Shockingly change the jerseys and it does feel like the same play. Thing is Baker was supposed to make a couple plays to help get the panthers over the hump, hes not made enough..... idk if its him getting here late, not liking BBQ, or what...... just like Rhule needs to make a few decisions to improve the panthers chances...... that same deal goes for Baker....
  16. I feel if he was 2-0, just about everyone would still want him long gone... Tepper deserves the loins-share of fans venom towards Rhule....
  17. Hes 3rd string at this point, Thomas is getting the loins share and next in line is Ricci....... He was my "surprise" player for the coming year, still early but the 2021 draft class i loved is looking rough.....CHrist is playing well and Shi Smith is getting lots of snaps........along with getting min impact.......Horn looked better.
  18. Yea, its still is part of game-planing.....Tho I will say this- Burns is it. Dropping others when you still have legit pass rushers, its different. Rucker was good and so was Jenkins......Peppers could play any spot on the field(minus ST)..... Burns is alll alone and I doubt his hands are good enough for some miracle INT.... To me I much rather Burns waste his energy running towards the QB, besides running out to a zone with not one player near. I swear I also seen him line up on a WR a couple times, is that "game-plan" "ok"?? (i swear late game he did it against toney)
  19. It does feel like Rhule did in fact hoodwink Tepper. Honestly thats where most of the Rhule hate should be directed towards. Tepper flew down to texas and gave him the keys to BOA, full control, AND let him hire all the temple/baylor sport science bros....... IMO 2020 showed lots of promise, maybe gave Tepper more juice to believe he was right to give a 1st time NFL HC the insane 7 year top 6 money.... 2021 slump-city. 2022 lost the first two in heartbreaking/panther fashion... Tepper can at any point fire Rhule, 64 million is pennies to him.....He allowed the RHule show to continue....
  20. I get it, you cannot have him rush EVERY play. Just its a sorry-ass attempt at a ruse. "Wow you tricked me into dropping my best/only pass rusher into coverage"...........Maybe one a game, not every few plays. Move him around the DL, inside, left, right, have him next to haynes, etc. Do not drop him in coverage. Its fools gold.
