This saints bucs is the craziest game Ive seen in some time, just unique play followed by rare play, scoring in bunches. Flags, TDs, STs, TOs, etc
-
FYI- Hes only 23 years old, still one of the youngest on the team even with 3 years playing. Best to say, this is his rookie year...
-
Not nearly enough for me to tune into ESPN, besides the random background noise game, its been around 15 years since I leftd. Basically once they stopped having espn news and skip started with argument sports. I checked out.

Jayden Daniels utilizing tech to his advantage

BY lets tepper use his netflix family account..... -
This would take me days to answer, One of the first things I would do is call Bill Billacheat and see if he wants the keys again..... Yes age and hes drafted poorly, but hes still the goat and you can never discount HOF level HCs. I mean he could go "I just want to be a DC or advisor etc." Just having him on the team would be great for game-planning.

Gettlegut found the best UDFA in panthers history in norwell(whom became the highest paid OG for a time), that was 3-4 years of cheap all-pro play and could or should have gotten a 3rd comp after he left.(ithink they did) He also drafted tri turner, who was the same all-pro level play and cheap since he was a 3rd rounder. He got his bag and got ultra lazy. He re-sign ryan kalil, I believe two times. He was know for replacing players, but made sure to pay kalil. He drafted dwilliams which was as solid at RT. you couldnt ask more form a 4th rounder. He drafted Motown whom is still here collecting massive checks..... Now comes the LT mess. he gets blame too much for Bell and chandler. I ask who left him with NO i mean no cap space?? I will say he forced gross out too soon, but gross doesnt like to eat like a LT and he was already retired. He tried with the joke of player in Matt kalil with guess whos blessing, injuries and bruised eye lash later he was like gross and done with pro-ball. He truly found a LT in Michael Oher, he was still young 27 years and above average, then terrible luck with a serve concussion. As for overall handling the OL, i give gettlegut a solid B. There was no better IOL for nearly 3 years than norwell-kalil-turner. Williams into Motown is solid as RT goes. LT.......did I mention the IOL??

Its been two years now, tuttle trys his best, but hes barely 305 and theres limit to his absorbing blocks and being moved off his spot. Simply put they MUST find or trade for legit NT if they want to keep up this 3-4 program.
-
Hes not in my top 20 issues/worries right now. I hope he keeps getting better. I do see him moving over to RT in like 5-7 years from now, maybe it will he will take over for motown....

bro check this one out........

Hmmm why do S-O-F-T teams have injuries??!?!?! hmmmm ....

FInd johnny and look at his golden fiddle, ask a few questions.....then ask tepper to summon his frie.... errra the devil........

The main reason they left the 4-3, was they could not find or draft 4-3 ends. 3-4 OLB were easier to find according to numbers. 3-4 truly needs a 375 NT ballerina thats tough enough to take on 2 blockers without losing the gaps. panthers dont have a vince wilfork, its where everything starts in the middle. Even Ray lewis struggled without sam adams or ngata.
-
I honestly dont know, I just remember watching him and go "thats not the white I know". He was struggling to reach RB on sweeps and even off-tackles, just sad. It honestly could be a bad back, thats how he ran.
-
Thats petty bad, the reason for keeping him is they were paying him either way. I doubt mays or that ark rookie C would be any better. He was legit in 2022, but next to PS level players, he looked PS. I swear C should be top 3 needs, maybe lewis and hunt can help enough.
-
I think hes done, he just cannot run with speed. It happened to beason and jaylon smith, LB is still the toughest job out there. There comes a point in which you allow too many plays, thats where white is.

I promise if you placed boz between hunt and lewis, he would have played better. There was only like 50,000 saving to his release. I thought you keep him as a backup and if he wanted his release, take a paycut. Same for bell. Icky isnt in my top 20 issues, glad hes looking like he belongs.

Ive done this stuff before, saleh must not have took the news without displaying anger. The deal is, he should have.... this is a jet move, owner was tried of losing and made a quick move to get better in his mind.....sounds like another owner ......

What were your expectations for this season?
Basbear replied to Mr. Scot's topic in Carolina Panthers
2-15 I tried to tell many huddlers, but they were drunk on hopuim. Its not my style to bust-up fellow fans hoping for a 7-10 win season. I too want to hope my favorite team can be average again...... I even thought they had less talent than 2023, many poo'd on that as well. Unless evero can surprise some QB and get some TOs, even with dalton at QB getting that second win will be one tough mountain. People talk about the points and non-pass rush, but the defense is also lacking TOs. TO win games... -
Yea, i seen one play against the saints and that burner got by him and he was upset before he reached the TD. I got no clue what the play calls are, but something is "off"(couple others). Seatbelt Horn didnt need safety help, it was like a young revis out there. Maybe the two injuries have changed his mind and body. idk. Hes just not that "guy" it seems, I hope this honest take doesnt get labeled as a "hater" non-sense. Cause Im a big fan, he was pro day one and unlucky with the injury stuff. I heard he was like CMC and was over-training his body and causing stress issues that lead to injuries issues. The guy is working too hard.... Panthers cannot keep trading everyone, but.........hes got a awful history and now hes not at the same elite level. Just dangerous to sign some 100 million deal, but it would be hard to find a good replacement. Pass rush has not helped him AT ALL, thats needs to be said.

Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 5 loss to Bears
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
I dont know this, it is a guess. Cobrett likely got injured many plays before and kept playing until he figured out this was something you cannot play with. He said it was during a pile push, but most OLmen always have some sort of injury. Bicep is weird, cause I believe christ finished the game and got checked out and they were "You are done for the season". Many have all sort of tears and sprains etc, but braces and drugs "My arm feels good enough". I swear this team needs a new greg olsen. (who doesnt..) Sanders is just too green, poor tremble that was brutal. Tuttle played like a fresh rested player. Cherelus was a 2023 wavier claim form the jets and stuck around. I think hes 25 years old and like most LB build like a truck. -
Hes also not the lockdown CB he showed early in his career. I swear im having burns thoughts about paying him......ie let some other team and give up a 1st or big package for his rights. He has been doing great at tackling for lost, but the once "selt belt" clamp up your top WR guy.....hes gave up too many big plays and I say on half of them he was in good position. Honestly feels like QBs were scared of him, they didnt even throw near him and now they are not.
-
No he didnt, just ran into a real top 10 D. bears staff knew dave and had not only a great game plan but each play call was good too. The defense just has no depth to fill in all the injuries. Now the O will be missing half their starters as well. Bears just had more talents, thanks to a trade....

He needs more time. Look at this- he claimed 6 players at cut day(only three remain), that tells you hes not happy with the roster. His FA class is playing well enough - hunt, lewis, and robinson with some misses Hes made around 4 trades- id take the 2nd 5th carolina package over paying BB barrent for a starting well playing #2 CB mike jackson rams 2025 2nd and 2024 2nd for panthers later 2nd pick. Djohnson and 7th for djack and 6th I'd say all of those favor the panthers currently. Draft class is too young to judge, even if I said he didnt land a starter on the weakest roster. This team plain sucks, there is no strength besides one player in dbrown. You cannot suddenly fix that in just one off-season. Until the cobrett injury he had fixed the OL. He tried to add weapons in brooks, sanders, johnson, and XL. He added players that fix everos D. He sure did try if you go by one off-season. Results, sure any team that traded prime picks and top 20 WR for BY will still suck. Even if he hits on many decisions it will take nearly 3 full seasons to get to average team levels.
