Maybe, just maybe they finalllllllly have a group that knows what NFL talent is. I still remember during 2021 FA with very little space, the following 2022 season had 110 million in cap space.....So in alll our wisdom they borrowed form 2022 to sign all the reddicks, fox, etc.......Then come 2022 there was nothing...... i feel they are going to pull the same BS this year if a top TE wants to sign here. It does not make ANY sense to constantly pay 5 win NFL players..... Its not rocket science, just use common sense and the fill in the other gaps with research.

We are on the same wave here, I think, no I know there have already been talks with seahags have been made. The the issue is when bears trade that pick, 99.9% that team will draft a QB. Now if its texans or colts, the Seattle pick is still in play. Zona and bears *should* be drafting defense studs. The other two picks *should* be QBs...........That brings the Seattle 5th pick into the spotlight. Thats the read I got along with the hope...... Got to pray to the football gods that Stround or AR and maybe even Levis is still undrafted......

for uptinth time, kicking the can only works if you have a real winner. For the last 5 years panthers are 5 win team. They wasted allllllll the cap space on a 5 win team.

Its not without holes, just as the numbers keep rising to space......some other methods has to take place. Take Cam, good example or bad example, he "lasted" 8 years. In the theory above, you are paying them CHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPPP until late 20s. Then you get the three 1sts, 3rd, 5th, and couple players....and find the next 7 year savior.. The team you can build is 4x better*unless its a elite of elite*. The team is built with young talent as well. Personally I believe its a GREAT idea......just get super screwy if you think Joe Burrow is a 7 year planned player(he did already have acl). Some other team can print those 55+ milllion checks............. I prefer paying those first 5 years rookie contract and if if if hes got the goods and SB is there= tag that arse........... it blows up, sucks, TAG THAT ARSE again and trade him for the watson special OR go again and trade him the following......You remain young and cap friendly. Your whole team/depth is miles better.

Theres a idea worth talking as its floating around.... In fewer words- As a team you draft the good QB and pay him to 7 years. Then flip him for a kings haul, allowing some other to sign 50 mill per, while you use the picks to find the next 7 year wonder. You can build a full team and win SBs(most happen within first 5) and then let some other team give him 25% of their cap. Con is you can not trade Mahomes or burrow, so.........

About 9 out of 10 of these super trade ups have failed and the huddle is still like YOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLO?????? The success ones also had andy reid and perfect storm bills org happening..... For the love of god, this panthers team is NOT one rookie QB away. I get the last five years and all, but bros......this is not the smart way.
