BREAKING: Miles Sanders available for trade
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
How does one get gas for their EV? -
Im starting to think they have the best overall roster and not 49ers.
-
carolina made him look like PSer. I think you are wrong tho, hes legit good. All QB have bad and mid games, Im sure you played FF before, even those 5k seasons a couple games are under 200 with INTs.
-
daniels has been that guy, legit giving DC nightmares. NFL rookie completion percentage Daniels set the NFL rookie record for completion percentage in a game with 91.3% in Week 3. He completed 21 of 23 passes for 254 yards and two touchdowns. First player to pass for 1,000 yards and rush for 250 in first five games hes dealing and got young man wheels...

yea it was the either giants or carolina for the worst. Id case my vote for carolina for the lone reason that andrew thomas plays on giants... carolina dreaming with better OL, confident darnold, healthy CMC, moore, 2024 hubbard, young XL, AND alllll the draft form the BY trade.....dreaming...

why didnt they resign flacco?? I can not believe weak ass egos of nfl QBs.......you didnt want upset watson?? dumb, carolina panthers dumb!

BREAKING: Miles Sanders available for trade
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Out of all the recent FAs, I was most wrong about inches sanders. While he is currently out playing CMC, I thought he could be within 90% of CMC for 1/4 the price.......Hubbard just got stronger and stronger after the brooks pick too. Need my arse beat for telling folks snaders was a steal late rounder in FF. His trade value, I believe is 0. Teams will choose a free PSer over paying 4million to inches for a few games. I forsee panthers waving him ala troy hill to make room for brooks. -
If only CMC didnt get injuried or have an issue, I think Sam Darnold would still be QBing in carolina along with CMC and DJ moore......

Panthers in the Market for a QB (again): 2025 Draft
Basbear replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Im not the college fan of 10 years ago, but I had a very good record about QBs. Not the same NFL fan either, Im nearly 100% panther only. So after allllll that, Id guess sticking to NFL QBs is the way. Ive spoke on here about how Drew Lock was the main target. Geno SMith could be cut among others. I think there will be around 10 QBs available and half should be "cheap" "QB cheap". Im not against dalton for another 2 years 14 million go again. I think the main problem will be getting the QB to come play at carolina. Im for drafting one as well, you got to keep trying even if you are 0-22.....(id prefer mid-rounds) -
Mike Kaye: Panthers might start Bryce Young final 7 games
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers
Difference is SF has #1-3 ranked TE, LT, RB, MLB, Edge. And the Purdy saved them. They have the most talented roster in the league and have so for a couple years. -
I do not view this panthers team as fixable, at least without years of correct drafting. *BUT* I swear neither the texans or commies had much more talent than carolina and they drafted one QB thats lead them out of the darkness year one... Thats hard to ignore. Bungals were 20 year losers, drafted burrow; got sacked 70 times and still changed the team into winners....(nearly SB winners). I just dont have the QB hope, but there are examples....

Barnwell Trade Idea: Bryce Young <-> Dolphins
Basbear replied to TheSpecialJuan's topic in Carolina Panthers

Broski, he had smitty, sure late stage prime smitty, but still. They couldnt get along cause CAm was too busy playing the role and smitty wanted playoff wins. Cam also had Greg olsen, who was a top TE for years. Everyone always acts like Cam and nothing else, which is fake news. He had a top tier Defense, 2 stud RBs, olsen, best IOL, and smitty. The GM used draft picks as well to aid him. He had more than enough, god dam shame he and luke couldnt win back-2-back seasons.

Man was I wrong about him.

I mean DJ is cheaper and adams has like 38 million next yr with being 32 years old. Its a combo of many things. Jets are 2-4 and I doubt this makes much a difference, so that pick should be in 70s. WHile a KC 3rd should be in the 90s. The other deal to this is say DJ signs a big 25 million per deal on the open market(very possible). Well very likely unless the team sign someone to a similar deal, you get a 2026 3rd round comp (90s). Thats part of the issue too. My take is I doubt KC values Djohnson with his sus hands. I dont think hes been in a system that is close to Reids, so language and getting in sync with QB are huge problems. Dan has to know where players stand, he needs all the picks/lotto tickets possible.

Everybody is talking about resigning Chuba Hubbard or Diontae Johnson
Basbear replied to Basbear's topic in Carolina Panthers
You are right, my goal was mainly to showcase MJ for his stellar play. It is too early to talk of these things, dam shame I was given the 1-5 my mind has already shifted to 2025 off-season. That was my thinking as well, the contract that makes the most sense is Michael Jackson. DJohnson will get some 20+ million bag and recent history has shown you should not offer a high 2nd contract to a Rb (inches sanders among many others). Not to say I dont want either, just magic 8-balling mid-season and thought " Hey this MJ fellow came in super late and has played great given theres 0% pass rush...... sure would be nice to keep him a few more years". Ive seen enough too. -

If We Don't Win Another Game. Do We Make Any Trades??
Basbear replied to Hoenheim's topic in Carolina Panthers
100% you should be making trades. Panthers have no future playoff, get a few mid round lotto tickets and pray you can draft well for the first time there...... An unknown draft pick is still better than FA that has no future as a panther. -
Its wrong, look at the void yrs. about 13 million minus or dead cap for players that are FAs. If you add about 15 million for early draft picks and 5-10 million for in season signings.... You got nothing in cap space. Dont believe......
-
What about Michael Jackson?? I feel Michael Jackson has played great since he came in 10 days before week one. Hes right there with JC horn and if he does give up a TD, he is in good position. Its hard to judge whos fault it is about the busted plays and big gainers. I think hes about 30 good/great plays to 1 awful ratio, about the same as Horn. Add Michael to the resign wish list! Can imagine you if panthers had some sort of pass rush with both Jackson and Horn, I promise INTs would be happening.

Bills/Billy gets a A. they been divisional champs many years since. They drafted allen whom covers up all other issues. Wash; pre-2024 D. New 2024 Adam peters, A thus far just for drafting daniels......picking the right QB is 90% of the grade.

followed by 34 run iants had issues against the run

rattler was a awful INT.
