I was just thinking about that, no one has signed on other PS...... that may change with the 6 that got cut for claims. I know most hate Mays, hes still young, cheap, and can play both OGs&C. Hes started before, ugh..... still If I was GMing you take a flyer on those types. I thought ISM was a near lock, he's got talent and drive. Even the UDFA A&M safety made some plays

I can not disagree with improving the overall team. If you look at the draft picks, in seems nearly all of them will have decent-great chance at starting XL- AT could/should be cut. DJohnson is on one year deal, same for Moore. Brooks- hubbard one year deal. Sanders will be cut. Blackshear one year. Wallance- Shaq one year and no other top level talent Sanders- tremble and Thomas one year deals CSW- troy Hill is 34 years old and the big "one year deal" Nearly all of them could be starters.

brah, they signed 15 players to PS if Twitter is right. That leaves only 1 open spot for ISM or Coker. I thought its odd to only leave 1 open PS spot and cut 6 form the initial 53 less than 24 hours ago. If you didn't want them on PS, cut them the first round, seems cut too throat even for NFL.

It feels like a whole new change in philosophy.

ISM was one of the few that played hard the whole disaster 23 season. He was the clear best returner both kicks and punts. Had a role as a #4 and trick plays ala jet sweeps. He was cheap and young too. I liked Lee and thought how hard it is to find just one LT and thought he had the goods.

I seen that too. I've also noticed they picked up players high PFF scores too(ugh...) Maybe the new Eric Eager has a bigger role than people think. It felt like many of these were driven by Eager.

That maybe the wake up call he needs. When no team claims you.....your ego takes a hit. I bet his agent has been blaming panthers staff, but still the league spoke and said you're not in the top 1700 ranks.

What's very odd is that those 6 panthers that were cut from the original roster, the Panthers think tank has leftd no room or just one spot open on the PS. (there maybe a 17th if international). Losing Coker, ISM(I'm a fan of), and Mays would hurt imo. Just seems dirty of the Panthers to hold on to them and NOT offer a PS after other teams already finished their rosters. very odd.....

How did Jammie Robinson survive ?? I would have gave him like a 1% chance during the first big cut and 0% after they claim 28 CBs. I feel this roster will be much different in a few weeks.

That's a good counter, always enjoy when you post @Martin ! I would call that a fluky or point out if the rest of you elite team is filled out and all that's left is RB and MLB. Then its fine, otherwise the last spots you should value on a current NFL roster is safety, MLB, and RB. Just head over to sportac and see how good teams or any teams spend their cap.

I understand you calling cut players bums, which is false. Just like yourself, I got no clue who can help the Panthers. The only one Ive done research on is Trey Hill, backup C form the bungals. He done that role for 3 seasons and was a former bulldog. Seahawks cut a recent 2nd rounder KR/WR that Im looking into. D'Wayne Eskridge had NFL suspension and that's never good.

I gave you a few names- Jerry Rice the goat was cut. DeMarcus Ware was cut. Julius Peppers was cut. Revis island was cut. Richard Sherman was cut. Emmit Smith was cut. LT was cut. Hundred other HOFers were.... It not a difference makers deal, its a "is this guy better than what we have deal". A who's who's of all-timers were cut, its normal and not a issue.

Like I said just before this, Smitty and moose were cut. Being cut doesn't mark a player as a Bum. Could be contract, injury, system fit, or other issues not related to field. Jake delhomme was cut a few times, James Harrison was cut like 6 times before he became a Steeler legend. The Peyton comment was to prove, if he can be cut ANYONE can be cut. Since I can not predict the future, I don't know if there's another manning out there. Ridder was just cut and has plenty of starts while still young.

Dang I member TJ green he was a 2nd rounder (Seahawks?) that off the charts RAS dude. He played like he hated contact, I believe a couple teams tried him at CB, but he was a hybrid S. That's one sad list and 80% are only for one season.
