He needs more time. Look at this- he claimed 6 players at cut day(only three remain), that tells you hes not happy with the roster. His FA class is playing well enough - hunt, lewis, and robinson with some misses Hes made around 4 trades- id take the 2nd 5th carolina package over paying BB barrent for a starting well playing #2 CB mike jackson rams 2025 2nd and 2024 2nd for panthers later 2nd pick. Djohnson and 7th for djack and 6th I'd say all of those favor the panthers currently. Draft class is too young to judge, even if I said he didnt land a starter on the weakest roster. This team plain sucks, there is no strength besides one player in dbrown. You cannot suddenly fix that in just one off-season. Until the cobrett injury he had fixed the OL. He tried to add weapons in brooks, sanders, johnson, and XL. He added players that fix everos D. He sure did try if you go by one off-season. Results, sure any team that traded prime picks and top 20 WR for BY will still suck. Even if he hits on many decisions it will take nearly 3 full seasons to get to average team levels.

In all honesty, current Cam may be the one QB with a weaker arm than BY.

If shaq, dbrown, fuller, turlte, jewell, where healthy id agree. Theres just isnt depth to replace those average(not brown) starters. Its a major down grade. Does anyone know rookie QBs vs evero record is?? I feel that the only way panthers pull this out, the bears have very good defense that silent. They are better than chargers and bungals....it comes down to evero vs williams.

They all feel like the same QB just different features..... I notice when looking up daltons impressive career stats, fuging carr is right next to him on many. They are going to change the HOF QB rules, cause I already want to put Ryan Fitzpatrick in the hall.... if that is true and it is, I will be putting many more QBs than others believe belong.

I used haynes a few when talking BB, just give him the snaps and his contract was 1/10 of what was going to get ....same results even both have similar run defense..... I thought brano was on a BB path, but he got that acl and now its unknown.

I never thought Michael Evans would end up being elite for all these years. Hes been incredible for every season in his career, barf...... Hes got a decent shot to the only 11 straight 1k club to begin their career with questionable QB play aka winston.

I just want playoffs, make the playoffs and see what happens. Dont care if the record is losing, so long youre in the playoffs. If you said 5 or 6 thats more than doubles last years win total. Given they never lead and should have lost those 2 wins in 2023, 5 or 6 would have been great as sad as that is. Just the current times. If they keep playing like the last 2 weeks, 5 or 6 should happen barring no more big injuries. I said 2 wins, but I thought BY would be starting more games. They could, in fact should have won the game against the chargers if dalton starts. That game was winnable, I dont know how many we can call that in the future, the defense is hurting bad with injuries. Dalton can not put up 40 each game, evero is just going to have gameplan a win or two. I honestly think more running game would kept the defense off the field, rested and gives evero more time to figure out how to stop them. Old school 17-10 games, but I doubt that happens.

If this OL stays like the first 4 weeks, you will have QBs asking to sign here. That was my whole point about the QB- build the team, but tepper was tired of waiting. I know for a fact he told many in BOA that watson would be a panther and stafford came was close too. The deal with baker and darnold, the team around them is better including the staff which is what has plagued the panthers. 6 years is long time to wait and when they could not find a QB savior, they drafted/forced one. That has proved to be the biggest mistake. This OL is not allowing pressures and able in the run game. Got two young talented WRs and a TE that could turn a corner too. There are other darnolds and bakers like QBs just looking for a the right fit. If brooks can catch it also adds. Theres a decent group for 2025 and who knows about the cuts, geno smith could be cut. I think they sign drew lock and try to surprise the league. Build the whole team and QBs will come.

What you said is true. I heard he had basically no offensive coaches to hire in his contact list. He was going to roll with ben freaking mcado. I can not comment on what carolian hires, but in past years coaches got hired not on themselves but who they bought with. If your goal is becoming a NFL HC, you need to have a list of "friends" committed to moving to a new location.
