  1. I understand those players were not going to make the 53 (Jackson maybe/PS). Its terrible timing to cut a RB that scored the last TD since the moon landing, plus it was one hell of an effort breaking 4 tackles en route to the line. Sorta like cutting a player on his birthday or right after his wife gave birth...... Panthers making Panthers moves. For the over acting crew, they also resign 3 players they waived a couple weeks ago. At least bring in some new different players, not the ones you label as 90th or 88th on a 90 man roster.
  2. Old DG said on a show that 17 starting QBs didn't play PS week 1. (Im surprised) I still don't care, young is the player that most needs reps. 2-15 teams that should have been 0-17 need reps. Team been playing soft for years, who cares about the weak injuried players. Get some players that can last longer a series or two, PS is easy as its ever been. Hell that don't even put on pads but 16 times around games these days. fuging W-E-A-K BS. Even a couple series would be better than zero. Let's not forgot get dave has never called a game with young as his QB.......not to mention he's only got 1 year calling, he needs REPs, live reps with starters as well.
  3. I honestly think you hit on the soution here, or their plan. They keep adding safetys for a reason, maybe that reason is to have hill fill in for jackson until he's healthy and run a big nickle with 3rd safety. It sorta makes sense given the lack of CBs and depth at S. The 3rd S Scott has played in everos system. It could be the base D until health is returned to 100%. Hill has played outside for evero, but he's best at NB. Who knows they could claim a CB and start him week one as well. I've heard everos system puts the most stress on CB, so it would have to be a smart player.
  4. They sure have found lots of players on their way to starting, then got hit with a tough injury. Boert with starting his 17th game in two years and ach broke in 2021. fcuk that bot!!
  5. It hit late last night that you bastards tricked me into posting positive support for the failcons!!!!!!1!1!1!!
  6. He needs to to pull a woodsen and go hybrid Safety.
  7. Id 1000% take Cousins career for young without blinking. Im no fan either, but people just don't know about cousins. Over the last 5 seasons, he's also 4th in completion percentage, 3rd in TD% and has the 6th lowest INT%, and 2nd in passer rating(behind only Rodgers and ahead of Mahomes. He's top five in wins too. Just look at his career, its legit https://www.pro-football-reference.com/players/C/CousKi00.htm

  9. Let's both remember this at seasons end. I hope you are right!
  10. I hope they crash and burn, but I would not bet against them in this weak NFC south. I believe they coast into the playoff with bye to boot. Hate they are the favorites.
  11. Couz with Pitts, Landon, and 2 top 10 RBs. Paired with a average OL they should score easy most games. Check out couzs stats over the last five years, he's top 5 in many of them. He does struggle in the playoffs tho.
  12. Took a Noah flood and that 2024 team is vastly different.
  13. How you doing bro, I member you form the scout forums days. My memory sucks, but were you the one that painted?? I miss those days.
  14. That's a rollercoaster one. Kinlaw when in the 20s(?) and some of huddle was mad panthers couldn't predict the future enough to trade back and pick. Rookie year kinlaw started hot best I member and as you know brown struggled for his first 1.5 years or so. Then was having a best 3rd PS TC and had a bad leg injury. Brown turned into King Kong and kinlaw never got over the injury.
  15. They are going for it. If they are able to get a pass rush.... I dare say a deep playoff run could be in the cards for them.
  16. I agree odd they keep adding to safety. Even with the Franklin injury they are still deep and dare I say, good players.
  17. That's one of those win-win for everyone. Judon was a quiet problem a couple years ago, elite imo. Falicons lost their 3rd round pass rusher(he was starting) this past week and this is a great replacement. I've always been a huge Judson fan, he never got the respect he deserved.
  18. I wish that saying would die, steel sharpens iron, *NOT* iron. Not picking on you, just panthers seem to pick it up this year and Ive been fighting saying for years.
  19. I still had a couple of local strength guys around the queen during the 2020s. I heard nothing but respect for him- early in late out. Hard worker and didn't need any help/baby sitting. Dam shame about those freak injuries. Not since CMC has a rookie enter the league as a pro, that's horn. To finish on a hater note, the CB surtain picked right after him is nearly thought of as the best CB. More panthers luck.......
