Is this a #flashbackfriday?
-
Yep. That's priority for this dumpster franchise. Design/color of fabric. /s

Is there anyone on this roster you wouldn't trade?

For people mentioning Gilmore... how does that trade work? -

Three on the top of my list are untradeable because of terrible, overpriced contracts. -
I wonder if being a short-yardage specialist and back-up QB is of interest to Cam. I know he loves Charlotte/Panthers, but this embarrassing regime probably feels so foreign to him at this point.
-
I'm happy with today's result.
-
Tepper embarrassed by Rhule. Rhule lost locker room.

Or the entire roster in general. We have so much cap sunk between Sam (failed win-now attempt middle of a rebuild), Robby (trash) and CMC (permanently injured) alone. -
You'll be watching the entire team fail if you plan to watch.
-
Our draft sucked.
-
Robby Anderson's contract + two unused rookie WRs is enough to make me know this front office and head coach are clueless.
-
I'm on the not-vouching-for-Robby team fyi
-
Lol clip includes the huge TD run by Steeler's Stewart. This was a little before my time of watching, but sums up the Panthers I have come to love and hate.
-
Luke. I was kind of salty that we lost him while he was under contract, but now I'm so glad he's not risking his health to play for Rhule and this current roster.

This is why some of us are adamant that wasted wins in a lost season set the franchise back. Draft position matters. Draft picks matter. Unfortunately, we've got a solid tank going in a year we are light on picks. Typical Panthers franchise situation.

Official Panthers at Bills please don't embarrass us GameDay thread

It's disgraceful we trotted this O-Line out all year long. We've attempted to fix the O-Line by plugging in any possible QB... instead of using our draft picks and cap space on the actual O-Line. Brainless franchise. -

Can we see a replay? It looked like Allen was down before he threw it away... -

That was the play after... not the 1st down throw to DJ. -

Our best player (Zane Gonzalez) apparently taken off the field with trainers. -
And if our QB has that stat line, we lose by 70.

It honestly makes a difference. The Jags used that #1 draft pick to lure in Urban and it just led to their further downfall. I'd honestly argue that missing on Urban and Lawrence would have been better for that franchise. They'd have kept Minshew and not be a dumpster. Just wish we snagged him for peanuts and started building a legit team.
-
hate to break it to you... we only have one young corner that is seeing any playing time currently.
-
Some seemed to be confused by 5th year options. Teams can't exercise that option following the 4th year. It must be done prior. It was either add that year or lose the option. Team likely made that trade with the decision already made and hence the draft picks relinquished.
-
I'm confused. Are there people in this thread saying Minshew is not good enough to be rostered by the Carolina Panthers? The Carolina Panthers - biggest joke of a franchise atm when it comes to QB decisions. We're paying our replacement, replacement's replacement, and the QB originally replaced. All while having one of the worst offenses in the NFL. But nah... let's act like a solid QB on his rookie contract for the price of a third-day draft pick would have made this franchise worse than it is.

I'd say there's an obvious correlation to increased athleticism and ligament tears. Ligaments are not built to be that strong, fast, and explosive and it's leading to more non-contact injuries.
