  1. This is why I think we may be incentivized to trade back in the draft. Those 6th and 7th round guys are at least NFL caliber guys if you draft decently. We have a lot of non-NFL guys playing, and certainly across the depth chart. Those late round picks will be more valuable to a team such as ours.
  2. I love that little mock draft tool, but it's definitely flawed. Savion Williams consistently drops to the 6th/7th when I do it, and he's likely a day 2 pick. Mike Green is the same. If the Rams keep playing well, I could definitely see us trading back if the price is right. Would definitely come off of pick 8 and pick 60 (hypothetically) For something like pick 15 and pick 45. Not to mention those 6th and 7th round picks are going to mean a lot more for us than they will other teams. Our roster stinks and needs NFL quality players, especially on defense. I definitely could see us trading back and acquiring more picks. All three of our specialists are free agents as well.
  3. XL is fine. Looks like a good 2nd round grade guy to me. I think a lot of people wanted Justin Jefferson.
  4. The wise decision would be for a QB needy team to draft Sanders and hold the cowboys hostage. Deion probably won't coach for the cowboys if they don't have him, so you could get a premium. This is going to be fascinating.
  5. As happy as I am with how the season finished, we still have a lot of needs. I don't think we will be able to address them all in the draft. May take some creative solutions, like what is mentioned here. Our roster has a large quantity of guys that just aren't NFL caliber players. In that way, if we can just keep the same quantity of draft picks, or potentially get a higher number of draft picks, I'm not all that opposed to some draft day trades. If through that we land at Garrett Wilson somehow, let's go.
  6. Not sure how legit this source is. Not to mention teams put out a lot of interference this time of year with their intentions. We likely aren't going to get an inside look at the franchises plans and intentions until they happen. But I guess that's what message boards are for.
  7. Last year was also a very deep draft IMO. Not a good year to not have many picks. I think this draft is a little more average as far as depth goes. It's not bad, it's just not as good as last years. When there are more first round QB's, more talent falls to round 2 and 3, especially when teams start reaching for needs.
  8. Moton has been one of the only bright spots about this franchise, and has been a loyal, diligent worker. He's moved to different spots when asked, and he always plays his ass off. If they let him walk that would be a shame IMO.
  9. I think hard knocks is an enormous distraction. But I'd rather do it this year than later, when I expect us to be competing for things. Would be a really cool look into the organization. Would be very interesting to see the ownership involvement, even though they can control some of that.
  10. Rookies struggle with things sometimes. He was dealing with a nagging injury all year. If he had a been a tremendous amount better than he was, he wouldn't have been available to us at 32. Lets let the rookie develop before we bury him.
  11. We are talking about a backup quarterback. Jameis is a HOF vibes guy. If bryce gets hurt were going to suck anyway. Also, he prayed that the lord would deliver him from pick sixes.
  12. Last season we did not have an NFL roster on either side of the ball. We fixed offense. We did not address defense, and then our best player on that side of the ball got hurt. I feel like we can trust Evero's body of work. He didn't forget everything he knew. He was calling plays for XFL guys competing against NFL players.
  13. I don't think he was bad at reading defenses as a rookie. I think he literally had a defensive lineman in his face within .75 seconds of snapping the ball. He wasn't reading defenses at all post snap.
