Bryce DNP in practice 9-20-23
USDepartmentOfSavagery replied to Samppson's topic in Carolina Panthers
Tbf, Bama is on a fast decline right now and several SEC coaches suggested Bryce masked a lot of their flaws with his play. BY basically beat Georgia and their NFL defense by himself. I am going to talk poo and be cynical because that’s what Panther fans do but I do reserve quite a bit of faith that BY will turn it around. He’s too talented. -

Stats say otherwise. We have a middle of the road oline through 2 weeks. And that was against two of the better defenses we are going to see. But I guess you can make the point the quality of defense we were playing against can be skewed because they were playing against Bryce lol. -

The OL is not “bad”. They are average. Why does Bryce need a team of all-stars to look even marginally competent? He has the “most experienced and QB friendly” coaching staff ever assembled. They had “conviction” to trade significant draft capital and a PB level receiver for him. He looks like complete poo and I say this with a Bryce Young jersey in my closet. -

Being cynical is completely warranted considering what we have had to put up with as a fan base. Pizza parties don’t work. -

But fitt and Frank said they had “conviction” for Bryce. They spent all off-season pumping this kid up and we were reminded how savvy and experienced this coaching staff is and how perfect they would be for any QB much less a rookie. -
4 hours after a SCP post and only 3 1/2 pages. Damn.

Not even SCP can fix this place.

We’re rebuilding. -
We’re rebuilding. Didn’t you hear? The rest of the division who is also rebuilding are all 2-0. Don’t pay attention to that or the success some of the other rookie QBs are having with worse rosters. Don’t ask about the “conviction” the front office and staff had for Bryce and how the staff we assembled was reportedly the best case scenario for any rookie qb to fall into. We’re rebuilding, man. Scoring 1 TD in actual game time is part of that process. Didn’t you know, you can’t show any glimpses of success during a rebuild?

Official Saints at Panthers MNF thread

Watching taysom fuging hill run for 10 yards a pop was fuging hilarious by the way. We let him effectively end the game with a 12 yard run on their last drive. -
My resentment is based upon the hype our all-star coaching staff placed on Bryce all off-season. How he is a Steph Curry, poised, cerebral and generational player with unique arm “elasticity”, etc. You can’t make those types of proclamations for months and expect the fan base not to revolt when he looks like absolute ass - meanwhile AR, Stroud, etc. are establishing themselves as potential franchise QBs with WORSE ROSTERS around them.
-
Y’all pooped on OP and he was 100% right lol.
-
Please people do not read this propaganda
-
So explain what the problem is. You are just making excuses. How has the rest of the division with equally bad rosters, or worse (italics doesn’t make you right) all be collectively undefeated and scoring multiple TDs a game. What is our issue? OL? Supposed to be a strength? This experienced, HOF, coaching staff should be able to scheme open this WR corps with the QB THEY WANTED AMD TEADED UP FOR.

Here’s the boomer take I was looking for. The wait and see approach that we tend to see from people born several decades ago. The NFL has changed and passed you by. This isn’t your daddy’s redskins or cowboys. We are 0-2 with a roster that was better than 3/4 the division last year. Talk about that.

Here’s one. Where are the others.

I came out to BOA and bought some great seats and a BY jersey to support this kid. He ain’t it. He just ain’t. The coaching staff ain’t it either otherwise AD would have been in. Reich needs to resign. Why bring T Brown over here in the first place.
-
Where them huddle boomers at. Get in here and tell us how it’s a rebuilding year while other rookies out here scoring multiple touchdowns w/ worse rosters. Let’s hear it.
-
Mr. Scott about to propaganda the poo out this post but it’s true. Need to see them huddle boomers in here. It shouldn’t take hours to justify this poo. Get in here and defend it.
