Our QB next year is irrelevant. Cam nor Sam are playoff caliber QBS. -

Lol who cares. Antonio Brown is a piece of poo. Arians and the Bucs are too. The truth is probably somewhere in the middle. -

If this team fails to keep Melo because they were either too inept or cheap to surround winning pieces around Melo/Bridges, I will take my fandom elsewhere. We literally have a center peace to build a competing team around for the next decade. Don’t fuging waste it. -
Just start PJ at this point. We already know what Sam and Cam provide.

Tepper / Hurney comments about Rhule's hire

Hurney “just had a feeling”. He couldn’t describe it but that’s why he decided Rhule was the guy for the job. -

Anyone still trust Tepper at this point?

Hindsight is 20/20 but imagine having Jones or Fields right now and no money/draft capital tied up in Darnold lol. We would have millions and more picks to address the oline and rest of the team. Now we’re going to be paying Darnold and Bridgewater and still be without a viable starter at QB. fuging yikes. By the time Rhule fixes the oline, our young starts will likely be past their prime and unaffordable. This team is fuged. -

Rhule wanting Sam has more to do with availability of talent. There was no “Cam Newton” for him to go get. He tried to get Watson and we all know what happens with that. And the team had to do something at the position. Many on here were 100% on board with the team acquiring Sam and what it cost. I realize many here have a revisionist mindset though. im not a Rhule fan boy, but we were told this was going to be a long process from the very beginning. I’m willing to see what next year looks like. and I stand by what I said. The Panthers won many games in spite of Ron Rivera, not because of him. Cam was used pretty much incorrectly his entire career here and was never prioritized with surrounding talent on the offensive side of the ball. Those wins in December sure did help though - all to the tune of No back-to-back winning seasons. Cam and Luke carried this franchise and Ron Riveras ass for nearly a decade.

I’m willing to give Rhule one more year. At the very beginning of this, we were told to be patient and that this will be a multi year process. He must demonstrate some real and actionable corrigibility this off-season. Rivera had the luxury of having a healthy and generational talent at QB and MLB in 2012. I still think the team won many games in spite of Rivera and not because of him and especially in those late season streaks.
