From what the media were saying Tepper and his wife were pretty much had some influence by spending a lot of time with Bryce and his family. I'm not saying it has to do with our owner meddling but from what was said between John & Lance it does sound somewhat obvious it is possible it did happen. if it was like the 80's right now no QB would last a second on the field much less be left alive after a hit/tackle and their career would be over after the first game no matter what protective gear they had on. Or preseason if they played.
