Damn I can’t wait for training camp this year. So many battles going on and so many interesting stories. I can’t wait for the pads to come on and see the Oline battles to start. Really pulling for guys like Brown and Moore play well. Also really want to see Marshall be unleashed. I am really high on him.

A competitive competition at TE isn’t something we have had in a decade. First bc of 88 and then lock of talent and depth. It will be a fun addition to training camp.

Sean Chandler has some NFL game time experience. Also works on ST’s.

Why not Reggie White and Lawrence Taylor while you are at it.

I think he is already like 65. Have a hard time believing a team wants a first time HC at that age. His best bet is to remain Rhule’s right hand man.

I love this access. I takes away all the “keyboard GM’s” theory that we could of gotten guys for different amounts. Also really like how involved Samir is in a lot of this stuff. Sometimes GM’s need a guy to take the keys away so we don’t end up with signings like Hurney used to do.

I think coaching the senior bowl really gave us an advantage during this COVID year. Helped us find possible gems for the draft.

Didn’t realize Joe was from NC. I will also have ego check out JC’s you tube channel.

Is it just me or did Joe Horn seem torn. While he was happy for his son it looked like he could spit nails that Carolina took him when his JC got the call.

other thoughts: Interesting how high they were on Chuba. Seems like all the coaches were high on Tremble. Shi Smith has a great shot at making the roster. And Hoskins wasn’t just an afterthought.

Maybe the homer in me but that was one of the best vids I have ever watched. I would always wonder when Hurney was picking WTF that discussion was. With the new FO we get a good insight on what they we thinking. And it seems they got the guys they were targeting based on the round. I know this Bill Parcell’s would be happy with how this draft went. It seemed like Rhule had a ton of input in the “shopping for the ingredients since he is doing the cooking”. Fit is there to organize the board work the trades but if the player grade matches the round he is good with the pick.

Let hope it pays off.

You get the feeling that LB will be less used going forward. Like playing a 4-2-5 as a base. It simply seems that with all the S’s and CB’s that a shift is happening. RR would be going nuts.

I heard that if they do it before OTA’s started they didn’t have to pay anything. Not sure if that is true. Other reports say they have to purchase all the outstanding inventory of their old number.

Yeah. They had info on Chuba about the elite blocking that I was not aware of. That will help him get on the field to spell CMC. They also really liked Hoskins. Which I can’t find any tape on they guy. Hope he works out also. We at least have enough shots for some of these guys to work out and that’s more than we can say for any draft that Hurney ever had.
