Finally a power ranking we are top 5 in..
jfra78 replied to Champagnepapi704's topic in Carolina Panthers
Panthers are either black jaguars or black leopards -
Not just the line but the front 7, wouldn't mind double dipping at edge or an edge LB combo in the 1st 2 rounds
-
Like the idea of double dipping at edge or edge LB combo in the first 2 rounds

Can something be done about this referee bias against the Panthers?

Nope -
I feel better about drafting 5-10 than I do 1-5
-
I thought we were going to do it this year with Jenkins
-
I will care about this so much next year when Bryce is now longer a Panther
-
Depends on what you call a drop. That ball that Hubbard "dropped" was too high. Yea if he gets fingers on in it should be a catch, but that was an easy throw that allowed the defense to rally. Even if he had come down with it, he would have been tackled immediately.
-
He didn't lead a 4th quarter comeback today we didn't even score in the 4th...
-
I don't look at today and have any confidence that Bryce is the answer at QB. He looked good for about a quarter then disappeared. The game was always in reach for the giants, it's not like we took the foot off the pedal
-
First quarter really, he looked pedestrian the rest of the game
-
I don't want the Panthers to fail, but it's obvious that Bryce is not a franchise QB and we have to move on. Him failing makes it easier for the Panthers to realize this.
-
Only thing I worry about is his ability to reach out and knock the ball out. Bryce isnt strong enough to hold on.

36 yards when it matters 50 when it doesnt.

I think this was a Thanksgiving game, we were wearing color rush unis

It was pro football, but it was about a week ago -

The mocks are weird right now, I did one and got Cam Ward in the 3rd -
Best and worst PFF grades from Panthers' Week 6 loss to Falcons

Probably got dinged for the fumble -
There were a lot of penalties
-
His teade value only goes down if we play him

To me edge is the biggest need and i like the Mykel Williams pick. If we go QB, I like Cam Ward at 6 but maybe not 2. -

Cam Ward QB "Ward is among the most gifted throwers in the 2025 NFL draft class," Parson wrote in the quarterback's initial scouting report. "The combination of arm talent, mobility/athleticism and accuracy is growing among NFL scouts. ... He has superstar potential if he can cut down on mistakes/risky decisions." Mykel Williams EDGE Carolina tore down its defense last offseason to prop up a struggling offense. It is time to identify tentpoles of that unit moving forward. Mykel Williams is a young player who can develop into a difference-maker. Cam Ward QB Bryce Young didn't turn out to be a No. 1 overall pick on the level of Cam Newton, so the Panthers can try again at quarterback with another Cam a little later in the first round. Ward is looking like this year's Jayden Daniels as a Heisman threat and much-improved prospect after playing in multiple programs. Ward has been showing off his cannon arm and would appeal as a pocket passer for Dave Canales. Cam Ward QB One of the fastest-rising prospects in all of college football is the polarizing Cam Ward. There are some people out there who just absolutely love Cam Ward and everything he does, and there are other folks who criticize him for putting Miami in bad situations before pulling out his heroics.
