    So basically consensus means nothing. It actually means a general agreement which isn't true because there were plenty of scouts and analysts who didn't agree with that "consensus" at the time.

    I remember Bryce being the favorite early on, then it was 50/50 before the Combine, then Stroud was favored a little after the combine, and then it swayed to Young after his Pro Day. I think this has to do with the rumors that were flying around at the time that the Teppers preferred Bryce. It wasn't concensus there were plenty of analysts and scouts that liked Stroud more.

    No one thought Houston was a better team before the draft, after the draft, and all the way to the regular season. What if Stroud is elevating players who in the past haven't been anything more than mediocre.
