While we should have some input, our thoughts should not go into who is brought in, but I will say a certain segment of our fans damn near ran the best thing we had out of town. They complained of a certain QB not being up to par, and the QB that certain segment of fans wanted to champion is exactly what they complained of with this current QB. You draft OL in the first if it’s a can’t miss prospect, and you take your lumps next season. The next draft is when you get your QB. In the meantime, you try to convince players like Riddick and DJ to stay. This team has talent, but you need a QB and line to be successful in this league. You do that, or you bet the farm on an established top 5 QB like Watson, but I don’t know if he’ll want to come here now.

Teddy wasn’t the long term issue, but he was right about the organization and coaches. Teddy is a true game manager. In todays league, you keep him around until you find that game changer

Josh Allen put the work in, and it also helps that he understands what he’s seeing out there. It took a season, but he got it. QB is a tough position. You’re dead out there as a QB if you can’t process what you’re seeing on the field or you’re too slow processing it. The talent is just too great

And your marketable player needs to really be a QB. He needs to dominate the stat sheet and dominate the headlines. I like CMC. That boy is cold, but you can’t have a RB be the main star.

Not happening until you put a winning product on the field, and it has to be consistent. I said last year nobody in the state really cared about the panthers, and some got their feelings hurt. Again, the panthers don’t get support in the state like that, and you can definitely forget about South Carolina. It’s going to take years of winning to do that, as well as a marketable player(s). A lot of your huddle panther fans hate the idea of this.

If I’m Cam, I wouldn’t bail this organization out. Front office/coaches did him dirty, and while most of the fans loved him, you had a few who didn’t appreciate him while he was here. Again, all the things they used to say of Cam are true of Darnold. Yea, if I’m Cam I don’t come back to this mess.
