  1. Elite passing ability? Can make all the throws? Cam could do all that, yet you said you didn’t want another Cam or anything like him. Cam also had slightly better completion percentages. All this is laughable. Your posts, and most of your posts critiquing QBs are hogwash. Just say you like Sam, and those other guys, you didn’t like.
  2. You’ve always argued against QBs that we’re inaccurate. Sam isn’t an accurate QB, and you’re arguing for him. You also don’t have the excuse that he’s on our team. He’s officially a free agent.
  3. A lot of people love to get behind an underdog story. They see the rare times the underdog wins, blocking out that most of the times, underdogs lose. Sam is also a “good” guy lol. A guy who keeps his head down, and is a lunch pail guy. We have a lot of guys who really like that, and that’s what they want their QB to represent. That’s why I believe Sam has the small following he has. He’s not taking you anywhere, but by golly, they want to exhaust all options before giving up the dream we all is going nowhere lol. The same way you have some fans that want another Cam, you have some fans that want another Jake badly.
  4. Happy for Wilks. He’s got some weapons on that San Fran def. Good landing spot for him
  5. Don’t agree, and if there is any truth to this, it’s recent. They’ve been doing what CRA said way longer than trying to turn somebody’s into Cam
  6. I agree with this. Cam was unique, a true dual threat. Saying AR is a worse Cam is off base These guys are more in the mold of Vick, but even as Vick aged, he became more of a true dual threat. Especially once he got under Andy Reid
  7. No, but again, I understand why they are being compared. Outside of the physical appearances, the negatives being said about Cam were the same that’s being said about Malik and now AR. I don’t think Malik or AR compare, but I understand the threads. The poster you quoted even said AR was a worse Cam.
  8. I got ya. The same negatives that Cam received coming in are some of the same negatives AR receives. I can see why the two are compared with each other. I think Cams mechanics were a tad better, as he was quite accurate in college. He was also a better runner, and ran with more power. Cam also did more with less, although AR wasn’t really working with much at Florida. His receivers weren’t all that.
  9. Nah. If you wanted me to let it go, you would’ve let this go. We can talk if you want
  10. If you think they’re silly, why don’t you just ignore them?
  11. Have you commented on the others who have made these comparisons, or did you just decide to wait and comment when Cam came up? There have been quite a few Levis/Josh Allen comparisons.
  12. The people on these boards don’t make player selections. If they want someone like Cam, that’s fine. The posters on here wanting another Cam bother you?
  13. And if they want another Cam, why does it bother you? Remember, like you said, every team has fan favorites
  14. Cams a fan favorite. Many panther fans love Cam. It’s great seeing you squirm whenever he’s brought up, but in threads dealing with other ex Panthers, getting on to those who, like you, want to move on from past player.
  15. A bunch of Hank Hills in here, with the dislike of profanity talk lol. For what it’s worth, Hank is my favorite character on KOTH.
  16. So, you have none and now you’re getting upset because I had some questions about your Lamar assertion. There are some injuries out there, I’ve looked them up, but most of these injuries to dual threat QBs are in the pocket and rarely outside of it. The injuries they get happen to all QBs. So, this age of 30 threshold you’ve placed on dual threat QBs like Lamar. So, again, why can’t he simply throw more when his use of legs deteriorate? He is an accurate QB after all, completing around 63/64% of his passes.
  17. What evidence or examples do you have on the bold? You can’t use Cam as evidence. So, you have Lamar and ? Also, why can’t Lamar just simply throw more if his ability to use his legs disappear? He’s an accurate QB, so I don’t see the problem. Cams shoulder gave out, and that was due to a tackle he tried to make after an interception. Watt put an end to that shoulder ever becoming fully healthy with a hit in the pocket. Cam did have a lisfranc injury, but that fully healed. When he came back to us, and played with New England, he was still collecting rushing TDs and yards with ease.
  18. Cam didn’t lose the element, though. His shoulder doomed him.
  19. I’m willing to give 3 1sts, and a couple mid round picks. It’s time to go after, and get a franchise/elite QB.
  20. I’m ok with the moves that get us up to 3 or 5. I can be sold on a move to get us to 1. Either way, we need to come out of this draft with one of the top 4 QBs or whichever, of those top 4 QBs, the staff has identified as the one.
