  1. This is what they’re going to try and do. I personally think a split for both would be good; especially with an extension for Fields coming soon, and getting a rookie resets the clock, but I think they’ve seen the improvement they want where they just keep him and continue to build around him. Plus, if they can come off that 1st pick and get more capital for next year, if Fields shyts the bed, they can just get a QB in 25 and have that QB set up pretty good.
  2. Now we can move on. I feel he probably should’ve been fined more, and possibly been banned from nfl stadiums for a game or 2; at the very least, banned from the Jags stadium. That didn’t happen.
  3. No more Fitt, no more Dan Morgan. I understand it takes a few offseasons to clear out the scouting dept, but the task should be replacing them all. This front office needs a complete cleanse. If Fitt is just going to be re-assigned, and most of his duties remaining the same, then this conversation is pointless imo. This team just doesn’t get it. As for a GM search; assuming all I’ve said above takes place, I’d love a deeper dive on Ian Cunningham. Poles is doing a decent job up there in Chicago, and he’s setting up the Bears to have quite the draft capital.
  4. He is tough. Can’t take that from him.
  5. lol I think this is a waste of time. in regards to the drink; Tepper threw that drink and ran to the back so fast. He’s lucky that man had a level of restraint. I would’ve climbed in that booth so fast. Security would’ve had to pry me off him. Throwing your drink at someone is nasty. Throwing your backwash on someone. Yuck
  6. Gotta hope Teppers impulsive a** falls in love with Penix
  7. If he’s there at our pick, I’d pick him. I believe @45catfanhas been high on Penix too
  8. This is what I would do. We made a mistake, let’s move on. I believe on trying till you get it right, and like you said, I’d trade Bryce for whatever we could get.
  9. Bama has a good QB on the roster, they just got him playing Safety. Dude went to my high school. B Hubbard.
  10. And just like that, Milroes time is done. He’s a great athlete, but that’s it.
  11. Yep. I see no way this team pulls off more than 2 wins next season. I would not be shocked if we didn’t win a game. Let’s hope we get the right HC/GM in here
  12. I’d take that deal. Can we keep the history pre-Tepper? I don’t wanna give up all that the Steve Smith’s, Cam Newton’s, Kuechly’s, Thomas Davis’, and Peppers have done.
  13. Same could be said for Justin Herbert, and if I recall, you wanted him.
  14. DJ wanted to be here too
  15. Nope they will not, so that makes me happy. They are a QB away from doing anything, so hopefully, they stick with Desmond Ridder. We are a QB and multiple pieces away from making any noise
  16. We let go of our #1 WR for this crap. He’s a #1 WR in this league. It hurts, and shows if we were able to just get a bit better from our QBs in the past, DJ would leave no doubt that he’s an elite threat.
  17. This too shall pass. Im still holding on to hope that we’ll get a championship before I die. I think I stay a fan because, 1.) it’s my home team and 2.) it’ll feel so good to say you’ve been through it all, the good and bad. Right now it’s bad, and it’ll probably be bad for a long time, but as long as I have interest in the NFL and claim to have a team, it’ll be the panthers. Now, that changes if the team moves.
  18. Fitt is and has always just been along for the ride. Worst than Hurney sheesh
  19. Lamar has shown he doesn’t need to run to win. He’s been accurate since he’s entered the league. His numbers show that. What would make you or anyone else think he’s going to fall apart if his legs go, or he’s a running QB?
  20. Trading up wasn’t bad. You just can’t miss on that pick. Stroud or AR should have been the pick
