  1. Are the o line stats we see on here bs?
  2. Honestly, no. You don’t expect your backup to be able to carry you, otherwise he’d be the starter, but you do expect him to come in when called upon, not turn the ball over, and try to keep the ship afloat a few games. Darnold throws way too many turnovers for that. He’s either a starter or 3rd string project, and that project label is me being nice since this is year 4 for him. He’s proven to not be a starter in this league, so if I had to keep him, it would be as a 3rd/Practice Squad guy.
  3. I think I’m already at that point. I haven’t been this apathetic towards panther football since 2010. I was in college, and remember I picked up a job shift on a Sunday, all because I felt there was no point in watching the games. I feel that way now.
  4. I forgot about Tepper, and how it had been rumored he wanted Fields while his coaches went another direction. He deferred to his coaches. Yea, I know he’s hot tonight. Honestly, the whole coaching staff and front office should be out the door. Like it’s been said, we have officially been set back due to the decision to go with Darnold and not pick Fields. Not only did we not pick him, but we have given up draft picks and it’s pretty much been all for naught. Heads gotta roll. Most of the Huddle knew to pick Fields. Most of the Huddle was sketch on Darnold.
  5. Fields has gotten better as each game has passed. He looked good tonight, and damn near lead them to victory. Man, I thought we were going to pick him. He was right there for the taking.
  6. Miami is the only game left I could see us winning. Both that game, and the WFT games will be low scoring affairs. Only issue is I don’t see us getting more than 6 in any of those games
  7. We’re not beating the Cards. This will be another 24-6 type game.
  8. Damn. Brady and the QB coach are dead men walking. I think it would be a mistake, too.
  9. I’m ready for the meddling when it comes to finding a QB.
  10. Well, Sam’s numbers with a clean pocket and time to throw was a huge red flag.
  11. I’m spending big money on the o line, and if I can’t get Watson in here, then I’m drafting OL early & often, while bringing in someone like Tyrod Taylor. He can carry us until we get a franchise guy in here. Either way, the Darnold experiment is done.
  12. Man, I feel for him but all that crying ain’t it. Again, it shows me he just doesn’t get it and he’s overwhelmed. Let the ladies of the Huddle or his mama worry about him, but out on the battlefield, we don’t have time for that. Results matter in this cold world and in this cold game. You either get better, and if you can’t, step aside for someone that can. Can’t lead a group of men when you have doubt or if you out here crying. Outside of a heartbreaking loss, I’ve never seen that
  13. 2020’s stats with a better defense, and this team was in plenty games last year. Teddy isn’t the answer but he’s a good bridge for our would be franchise guy. This is a team knocking on the door. With Sam there’s no chance. He’s not a QB. His accuracy and processing isn’t up to par with this NFL, while Teddys is
  14. They knew. They probably realized it during training camp
  15. I blame them all, but Brady gets the least of my ire. Honestly, Darnold should have never been brought in. He’s not a NFL QB Only so much you can blame the fans. While we should have some input, our thoughts should not go into who is brought in, but I will say a certain segment of our fans damn near ran the best thing we had out of town. They complained of a certain QB not being up to par, and the QB that certain segment of fans wanted to champion is exactly what they complained of with this current QB. Some of them still got too much pride to admit wrong, though
  16. We’d be a playoff team with Teddy or atleast knocking on the door. You’re right in your assessment
  17. You know what, I can agree with this somewhat. Only problem with Jake was he wasn’t consistent and he wasn’t going to be consistent. The injury had something to do with it, I will admit that
  18. Brady made the jump to OC too quickly. With that said, I don’t want to get rid of him yet. Get him a QB and a competent line and I still believe we can score some points
  19. It does matter. You get a decent QB in here, and this team atleast get through this part of the schedule with a winning record. Sam has had time, and the stats show us that.
  20. You’re going to get poo’d, but this is the truth. He’s crying because he’s overwhelmed. In his head he knows he can’t get it.
  21. He doesn’t need to worry about the PSL owners and fans; especially here in Carolina. You get a winner in here and the fans will come, even if the current fans are replaced. You don’t go into the offseason trying to get a good ole boy like Delhomme; aka someone who will bring the same inconsistencies were used to. Even with Jake, this state as a whole has never really cared about the panthers. You need a true game changer, and marketable player
  22. You draft OL in the first if it’s a can’t miss prospect, and you take your lumps next season. The next draft is when you get your QB. In the meantime, you try to convince players like Riddick and DJ to stay. This team has talent, but you need a QB and line to be successful in this league. You do that, or you bet the farm on an established top 5 QB like Watson, but I don’t know if he’ll want to come here now.
  23. Teddy wasn’t the long term issue, but he was right about the organization and coaches. Teddy is a true game manager. In todays league, you keep him around until you find that game changer
  24. I don’t want to lose Brady or Snow honestly. They are capable of making it in this league.
