You think Tampa is about to trade with us next year for one of Williams or Maye? I highly doubt that, so there’s one of those stars gone. Next, with the all star staff wit supposedly have, and with the moves the FO is probably going to make this offseason, we’re likely to be picking in the teens. Going to be an even bigger ransom moving up next year for one of Maye or Williams. If you feel one of Young, Stroud, or Levis(O use these 3, because apparently the staff isn’t high on AR), then you go get them now.

You have to go 1, because if you go 3, another QB needy team will just cave to Chicagos demands and get 1; effectively taking both Young and Stroud off the board. Houston is going to take Young or Stroud. Gotta get the 1st pick

Really impressed with AR this weekend, but Stroud is still my #1. A pure QB, he is. The passes he threw looked so smooth coming from his hand. But like most, I’m fine with Stroud, AR, or Young.

AR is going to be the pick I believe.

With Vick, im sure it’s largely due to his play but Vick is a redemption story that quite a few look up to. Got his 2nd chance and ran with it. Been a model citizen, so I don’t see any wrong in having Vick as a role model. Watson is probably for his play. He was an elite QB, and has a chance to get back there.

CJ Stroud just said he looked up to Vick and Watson. It’s a beautiful thing.

Two great QBs to try and mold yourself after. Role models are a great thing.

Thanks for posting this, OP. The part about going after mid-level QB free agents leaves me cautiously optimistic. Hopefully it means Carr won’t be coming here, and although I don’t want Darnold back at all, if it comes with a rookie QB drafted in the 1st, I’ll deal with it

I used to get my haircut at the same spot Keenan and his dad would be at in Greensboro. His dad was a regular, but Keenan would come through from time to time. I saw that Allen was probably going to be cut. He’s still got some juice left in the tank, and would be a good target for our young QB. Hopefully, the price isn’t too high and we can bring him here.

I’m good with that. Like that we’d only have to give up one 2nd round pick this year, and after that, we’d only be out of 1st rd picks until 25. We could still build a team with a trade like this.
