Brown worries me. He's got the NFL body and ability but he can disappear for long stretches.
-
Yeah, i figured pff would have more realistic trades. I cant believe that those grades are accurate. I dont think we can afford to sign 13 guys, lol.
-
Its not great in terms of who fell where, particularly OT, but man oh man. I addressed everything i could think of.

we were the only ones who wanted sam darnold lol

I dont know why, but i found this hilarious -
Honestly. Giving how much the Jets abused Darnold, you draft OL help and lots of it. He will have weapons, so the line will give him confidence. However, people should prepare themselves. I would not be shocked that should a qb drop that they like, i could see us draft one to sit for a year behind Darnols.

M&M: QBs we are not talking about much (Mond/Mills)
Panthero replied to MHS831's topic in Carolina Panthers
Similar to Florida except when it counted against bama. They took the ball out of his hands and jimbo ran an offense that is not what he prefers. He did that with a senior qb. The guy is Jamies without the high end skills. He will disappear for quarters at a time. -
I like both of them as well as Darius Stills if we wait late. Apparently Rhule likes him from the senior bowl I think Jay and Jaylen are third or fourth round types, but Jay is like you said, more well rounded. Jaylen and Darius are third down pass rush types for now.
-
Exactly, i'd rather roll the dice on the bum from Florida or Davis Mills.
-
i like Nixon, seems like Barmore will be gone by the second round. i think the others would and several will be there in the third. McNeil may not make it past 50, so a little rich.
-
To pair with Big D? Im intrigued by Alim McNeil, honestly despite that hes not thought of as a penetrator type. He is known as a guy who plays three downs and generates a ton of pressure. Imagine him and Brown pushing that pocket in while, Burns and Co. are coming around the edge.
-
Pitts is fun but my pick is sewell in that case. Id take freirmuth in the 2nd and be happy with the first two. Id say roll the dice, but the only other legit left tackle is eichenberg and he will be gone by the time we pick in the 2nd.
-
Yeah. Looks like there are a ton of the starter by year two or contributor by yeah two types.
-
Yep. Top qb picks (1st round) seem to pan out about 1/4 of the time, thats why packaging so many picks to move up surprises me with some of these teams. Giving up one additional pick i get, but mortgaging the future for it seems like too small a target to hit. Its poor odds.
-
I go back and forth on this. Just not sure what rhule and brady think of him. If they think he is an eventual playoff caliber qb, theyd be nuts to let that small of a move pass them by. Now if denver drives the price up, then they may pass. But id see them giving up a 3rd plus number 8 to move up. Doubt they'll let themselves get ransomed though.

Great point. Just seems like a big gamble either way for them. Which is good, i hope they poo the bed no matter how they play it.
