    Agreed. My only issue with this strategy is there are five teams that have 2 first round picks in the 2023 draft. They all are qb needy teams as well. Jist not sure how we can put together a package to match. In short, we need to be terrible this year. If thats the case, why not just stick with legohead?

    If mayfield wasnt such a nut, i could maybe warm to the idea, but you cant have your QB be the biggest diva on the team. Guy causes division and strife. If we sign him, itll likely crash and burn so we'll have a new head coach the following year, so............sign me up!

    I believe ge should have gotten more snaps at LT so we arent asking this fuging question going into such an important draft. If for no other reason, Rhule should have to answer for this terrible mismanagement.

    If they think any qb is a legit first rounder then go ahead and take a swing. Otherwise dont push it. Id prefer a OT, we're still going to be bad next year. No telling what qbs will emerge.

    I read somewhere Irvin and at least one other cowboy player would takes lines before the game to get hyped up. Gives me anexity just thinking about coke these days.

    No question in my mind. And it will be pickett. Small hands aside, he has the traits. Doesnt mean he'll succeed but our best shot. 5 teams have 2 first round picks next year. Gotta think unless we bomb, we wont get a top three guy next year.

    True but there are also several teams with more than one first round draft pick, so competition for those qbs is going to be fierce. We'll still have to give up a lot unless we have a poo season.

    I always laugh when at the beginning of draft season, no qb is going high. Invariably they move up the draft charts. Can set your watch to it.

    Its gonna be a quarterback. Not sure how i feel about it, but thats my belief.
