  1. Every so often, you get a train wreck of analysis. Teams, despite being multi million (billion) operations, can't reinvent the wheel. They occasionally forget this.
  2. Thats whats crazy about the game. A stellar retirement doenst even get you special. Not hating, just blows my mind.
  3. They aren't giving a first for him. A second would be a great value. We're still a ways away from being a true competitor. This is what smart teams would do. One step back, two steps forward. Which means, we get all proud and keep him, then he walks and we get squat.
  4. Does the team thar drafts him lose their pick? Would be peak Teppermania.
  5. Dude with Tepper, this could actually happen.
  6. Auburn could beat both these loser teams! Charge!!!!!!
  7. Lol. Chill out dude. Moving in the right direction. A 1000 miles to go.
  8. Another turd burgler with a youtube page. Pass.
  9. All that may be true, but I'm sick of the same old sorry ass takes from former coaches, players, talking heads, etc. If you have nothing new but dog piling on the franchise, then take your candy ass on. Nobody gives a damn about these burnouts crying all the time.
  10. Sigh. Typical. Let's poo on the franchise while drawing attention to ourselves. surprised D'Angelo hadn't chimed in yet. Christ, with friends like this, who needs enemies?
  11. At least this way we can see if the rest of the team has any signs of hope. Hard to evaluate when the qb can't do anything. All starts there. I'm fine being bad to mid bad as long as the team appears to be building something.
  12. I'm glad to see them happy, as well as the board with some hope. A nice way to start the week.
  13. Cool. Preciate the discussion. Yeah, I'm an economist, the decision now is simple. Forgetting cost, If you think the guy is a quality starter or backup fair enough, try and salvage. If not move on. The trade fleecing can only be made worse, trying to "get right" for something that's already happened. People who continue to try and save face for a mistake (Tepper) are doomed to being held hostage by people judging your past. fug em! P.s. I'm sure most of my takes were (are) terrible, so I'm not dissing anyone, just interested in the behavior. Mania is intriguing, as I try to navigate the investment world.
  14. Fully agree. Just pointing out that it's a real (and common) phenomenon. Best to try to profit off of it. Hard to do in this case.
  15. Of course you can. Quit trying to apply rationale to the topic. The emotional brain was fully in control. Statistics? No one gave a poo and guess what? It'll happen again. Particularly in cases of desperation when there is no hard evidence (in game performance) to the contrary.
  16. Yeah, that's all true. But when people want to believe something, and they are emotionally invested, don't try to reason with them. Will never convince a person in that state.
