Didn’t read every page so forgive me if already mentioned. But was David Wesley ever charged with racing Bobby Phills? If he was, I don’t recall it ever impacting his ability to keep playing. While tragic for sure, only reason Carter slides is questions about maturity. It’s not like he’s getting a jail stint.

Historically if u look back at true bottom 10 teams drafting a Qb between selections 2-10, it doesn’t usually end up working out. I think Matt Ryan, Rivers and McNabb are the exceptions until recently with Herbert. Unless u take the Qb at #1 as a bottom 10 team or as a team who trades up into the top 10, it doesn’t really result in success. Usually I’d be worried about us drafting a Qb being a “bottom 10 team” but given we only lost a game due to DJ’s helmet coming off and then not replacing a complete moron for a coach last offseason, I view this team as one who shouldn’t be bottom 10. I think if our brass has a clear cut favorite at Qb, gotta risk it for the biscuit and make a move with the Bears.

Yea but what if the bears trade away the 1st? Then what u propose we do? That’d mean 2 QBs are already off the board by the time the 3rd pick rolls around.

This was my biggest take away from the Levis video. He was all giddy about Stroud and Young but for Levis all he could do was describe his physique.

I can tell u from experience, this argument never goes over well here. I’ve tried to objectively state similar things and have been met with a lot of bias. I will say tho that his contract is solid and if we drafted a QB, we can’t set him up to fail by giving him zero receivers.

Many fans are hoping like hell we end up with a top 3 pick so we can snag a QB. U really want Flores as our head coach with a rookie QB? The same guy who didn’t try to hide the fact that he wasn’t a Tua fan and would rather roll with Fitzmagic. I mean sure, in the very short term that’s fine. But it sounded like he straight up didn’t want Tua. Not exactly the kind of guy I want with a potential rookie franchise QB.

Ben Johnson if we go the offensive route and Demeco Ryan’s if we go the defensive route. I lean offensive tho because I don’t want our new QB to worry about having to switch offensive coaches all the time.

Guess I’ll be that guy then. I think he’s unbearable to listen to. I’m not even one to ever complain about announcers but good lord, dude just starts talking without any direction of where he’s even trying to get to. That whole Baker “spade is a spade” monologue that kept getting interrupted and yet he still kept trying to finish, was absolutely terrible. Smitty was a beast on the field and had some great one liners during his career. But he comes across as somebody who truly thinks he’s a philosopher. He did the same thing when Kyle Bailey interviews him on 610 back when they had a regular segment going. Just plain hard to listen to.

I still can’t believe this hasn’t leaked yet. I remember Steve Martin coming on FNZ one of Kroeger’s last days and basically passing the torch to him. Then fast forward to when he had a hornets play call go viral…and then bam…fired and vanished without a trace

Somebody in the Twitter comments guessed an extension for Burns or bringing back Cam…but I can’t see that being all that exciting. Wouldn’t think it’s a new agreement on a headquarter location as rock hill fans would be pissed. Getting rid of the turf or getting all black uniforms with a black helmet would be awesome but not warrant a tweet like this. No way we r firing Rhule. Darnold trade is all I can think of but would adding a hurt Jimmy G or a guy like Baker be a GREAT day? Who am I kidding, trading Darnold would be an AMAZING day
