Can we trade Jackson? Thought he was a free agent heading into the offseason.

I’m not saying this this would happen so before anybody starts complaining I’m just curious to see who you all would be willing to part with for a first. I also know some will be like “well it depends on where in the 1st you are talking about”. I’ll start. If you told me we do a true rebuild and were determined to build this team around an Oline, the only guys I’m banging the table to keep would be Horn and Chinn. I’d miss Burns and Moton but for rebuilding purposes, I could be persuaded.

I wanna let go of Rhule or hope he goes back to college. But we gotta also keep in my mind that some of these coaches have quite a few reasons to look at our current situation and give it a hard pass. I guess luckily Tepper’s check book is our best bet to influence a decision but man I would definitely not consider this to be a top option. No QB or Oline…franchise player has been MIA due to injuries of the past 2 years. Just not that great of an option.

I’m not saying this cuz he’s with the Cowboys, but somebody shoot me if we hire Kellen Moore. That to me would be like hiring Joe Brady as head coach.

Well for starters… - I don’t wanna retain DJax - Henderson hasn’t proven to be anything worth a damn - Do we wanna pay Gillmore if we r in fact still rebuilding? Will he wanna resign with a team that has no QB, no oline, a coach who is on the hottest of hot seats, not in playoff contention? It’s easy to do this now. Parsons is a freak. Slater would be a great addition. Fields would probably look the same in this garbage offense. But Horn was playing amazing when healthy.

Tepper would probably throw them $5mill to get the deal done by close of business day

Hiring Joe Brady was my favorite offseason move heading into the Rhule regime. I was ecstatic. I’m ready for us to relieve him of his duties at this point. How many 1st down runs did we call yesterday? Cuz it seemed like literally every drive besides our last one. How many formations did we line up in that based on the personnel alone screamed, “we r about to run it”?!? Our offense was predictable as hell and inefficient as I’ve ever seen it. This is no over reaction either. Yesterday’s offensive performance was pathetic and an absolute spit in the face to our defense. I know our oline sucks, but please get somebody in here that has actual experience in calling even a somewhat successful offense.

Honest question…what’s the hype about him coming from? Have seen his name mentioned a lot this offseason

Listening to Smitty last night had me thinking a couple things: - his roasting of guys is funny for a meaningless preseason game…but I dunno if it’s a good look for regular season - to know surprise, he’s absolutely full of himself - Taylor Z did a good job of responding after some of smitty’s long “philosophical” comments Overall, I think Smitty was entertaining at times, but in my opinion he’d be better off commentating an XFL game or Rough N Rowdy match.

As much as I’d want a quality tackle, I can’t imagine another team doing that when it’s far easier finding a WR. I think trading him for a 1st is far more likely if we actually decided not to resign him to a big deal. This is why it’s sometimes hard having conversations with people on here. I love the enthusiasm but this comment leads me to believe when discussing the panthers ur views are more biased than objective. Nobody is gunna take yours or anybody else’s fan card for being objective. I’ll say this for the 1000th time. DJ is currently not elite and outside of this fanbase, I’d bet 99% agree. Doesn’t mean he can’t get there. But his stats don’t equate to difference maker.

I saw a few comments on a posting from Twitter saying the funding was to go towards roads being upgraded to prevent traffic congestion vs all this money being put the the facility itself. Not saying that makes a difference, but just sharing as I had assumed it was just the facility itself
