  1. That presser was an absolute waste of time. Tepper: I’m here to talk football. Not going to talk about Rock Hill or soccer. Please ask me a football question. Reporter: *Asks a football question* Tepper: I’m not going to comment on that. That’s really a question for Fitterer. Next time u see him, you can ask him that one. What in the actual F was the point of today?!
  2. Individual episodes for each player airs this week for those interested. Thought last night’s show was pretty insightful.
  3. I will barf we make that mistake…we better not dare trade back into the first
  4. And see honestly, I can see it being the exact opposite. Jags - Hutch Lions - Walker Texans - Sauce Jets - Thibs
  5. In that scenario if we can’t trade down, gimme da sauce babyyy
  6. I think the Jets would easily taken Hutchinson at 4. They struck out on DE in free agency. I can’t imagine them passing up on that. Then again, your guess is as good as mine.
  7. U continue to be my favorite poster haha…don’t u ever change on us!
  8. @Verge who is your favorite player in the draft regardless of if they are the highest rated player on your draft board? And regardless if they are a fit for the Panthers.
  9. I can’t really argue with that. There’s just something about lining up Sauce and Horn on the outside with DJax in the middle that makes salivate.
  10. If Hutch, Walker/Willis, and all 3 tackles go in the top 5 = Draft Thibodeaux If Hutch, Thibodeaux, and all 3 tackles go in the top 5 = Sauce This is assuming you can’t trade back. Honestly, I don’t think most teams would be willing to offer what’s needed to trade up to 6 with those guys off the board
  11. Not that this tweet made me come to this realization, but for the first time I’m allowing the possibility of a Qb at 6 run wild in my mind. I’ve been pounding the table for a LT this whole time and thought surely we wouldn’t draft one of these QBs. But now I can’t get that nauseating thought out of my mind.
  12. Cuz they essentially picked up an additional 2nd and 3rd for just delaying their 1st one year…and still have 2 1sts this year
  13. I think plenty of teams r willing to call the Browns bluff and wait until he’s cut. I wouldn’t offer more than a 6th. Then would let him play out his final year. If he balls out, then absolute worse case, we tag him and make him prove it wasn’t a one yr fluke.
  14. Any GM offering that with this draft class should be fired on the spot lol
  15. @GrowlDo u really believe in Willis or Pickett? Or do u just know we need a Qb? Not saying you are one of these people but I’ve noticed some people think drafting a Qb in this draft is the correct thing to do simply cuz we have that need vs. wanting to draft a QB bc they truly are an elite prospect.
  16. I’m not one of these posters whose gunna call u a troll or say ur full of crap. But just curious where ya heard this. And thanks for sharing.
  17. What would be ironic as hell is if we did this and then Watson is suspended all next year and Texans own the #1 overall pick cuz of us. Good Lord, I will be physically sick if we make this move.
  18. Just combed thru 12 pages and I’m blown away that not one person has suggested we’d be looking for a 2023 1st. His dead money hit is $18.5 mill if traded pre June 1st and only $5.7mill if trade post June 1st. I’d be shocked if we got a 1st in the upcoming draft but I can definitely see us getting a desperate GM willing to part with next year’s 1st…which happens to be in a draft loaded with QB talent. I dunno bout you but I’d prefer a 1st that draft. Before you say Rhule and Fitty are too desperate to make a move like that for the future, maybe Tepper has an ounce of intelligence and makes it clear that we need ammo for next year.
  19. I’m with you 100% on CMC’s contract. I love him but I wouldn’t have given him that contract either. To answer your question though, I’d invest more in the trenches on both sides of the ball first and foremost.
  20. U can question all u want haha…and if u disagree, I definitely understand where you’re coming from. Paying big time money to a WR in general isnt how I’d want to build a team in the first place. When you then consider DJ being the WR that’s up for a big contract, I easily would pass. If we were a contender right now coming off a great season, I’d be more inclined to mayyyyybe bite the bullet just for continuity purposes. But absolutely not with those current group of guys.
  21. Bias towards what though? I’m not one of these guys still pissed we took DJ over Ridley. I loved the pick at the time as I preferred DJ. I know we r watching the same game but I just have never once thought to myself that he has been anything consistently special. Sure there are plays that excite me but I just don’t get this hype that others have shown towards him like he’s untouchable or that he’s a must sign guy. And to answer you about who was a dog out there this past year, that’s the problem. We didn’t really have any. Reddick maybe. There in lies my issue with the culture of this team. Look at our leaders. CMC, Shaq, Moton. I’m not saying every big contract we dish out needs to go to a vocal or extreme alpha, but I wanna see some more leadership. That’s obviously not the only reason I want to move on from DJ. We can reallocate these funds better all while acquiring more picks to bring in younger guys that fit this timeline better and aren’t so damn costly.
  22. People keep pointing towards his 3 yrs of 1000 yards as if it’s the end all be all. Go look at Kirk Cousin’s stats. Looking at his stats would lead someone to believe he’s good as hell. I agree with some other posters that DJ is a great #2. But I’ll say this until I’m blue in the face, no Defensive Coordinator is scared of DJ. He’s not consistent and he can’t take over. Yes, he’s had horrific QB play. But he’s also been fed a ton of targets. He’s not a dog out there. Hardly ever appears fired up about anything. I get it…Marvin Harrison was quiet and calm af. But at the end of the day, he’s not an actual difference maker. As much crap as we give Robby this year, he was our best WR and our only difference maker amongst our WRs last year. If DJ wants #2 money, I’m all for it. But if he wants to be paid big time money, it makes no sense given the current state our team is in right now. That money could be spent MUCH wiser.
