I honestly think Frank wanted to be fired. I don't think he wanted Bryce and a meeting with Tepper every week made being here probably unbearable. Coaches usually adapt with what they have and he showed no signs of wanting to do that. After he was fired, he said he was probably done with football. I could be wrong, but it just feels like he wanted to be bought out and retire.

I mean I kind of get it, but the OL coach should have been first if we are firing position coaches.

I expect to see maybe a few more explosive plays/attempts, but the end result probably being the same. I just don't have any confidence in this organization anymore.

With the way this year is going and how negotiations have stalled. If they were offered 2 first's and a second again they would take it.

Tepper views him as the center of the defense. The rim protector, he blocks a lot of shots. He's also very fast, and it is hard to find a rim protector who can run. 3 1st rounders is Tepper's calculation.

This organization is in shambles because of Tepper. I really don't know any player who is already establish that would want to come here unless we paid them a ton of money. The best we can hope for is someone who is trying to get a chance to prove they belong, like a Frankie Luvu.

I feel this season is done. It's about player development now, and if we do decide to trade players I would want it to be for picks. Although, Fitterer has shown no signs of drafting reliable/competent players.

Look, Tepper uses the quote "Rome wasn't built in a day". It took Rome roughly 800 years to reach it's peak. Just give it time, by 2823 we are going to be really good.

My concern isn't so much who wanted Young or not. My concern is how much Tepper is meddling with everything. I want an owner who wants to own a football team and not an owner who always wanted to be a GM of a football team.

It's hard to know where Tepper ends and Fitterer begins when it comes to the draft. There are rumblings in the media and former players that Tepper wanted to trade up for Young and that he thought we were a QB away. Now having said that, Fitterer did a piss poor job of building this team. Between the two of them this franchise is in complete shambles and I think you are going to see a exodus of good players go to better teams because of how things are being handled here. I do not expect Burns to be on this team next year. I also do not expect good free agents to sign with us, unless we offer way more money than other teams, but even still they may not sign. The only way to get this team back on track is through the draft, but we have given away most of our better picks.

It's coming out more and more that Tepper was the one who wanted to trade up and get Young.

Man it sounds like you are having a rough day. It kind of reminds me of the rough year Peyton Manning had in his first season of the NFL.

To be honest, I'm not worried about Bryce yet. He's a rookie and there are going to be growing pains. I just keep reminding myself that Peyton Manning had a pretty bad rookie year as well.

It's funny, I was looking back at one of Tepper's old press conference's and he said "Rome wasn't built in a day". I think we actually are on Rome's timeline of how long it took to get built.

It’s always been said that you build through the draft. You use free agency to fill some holes, and if you are lucky you can get a star to fill a position and solidify it. I’ve been trying to remember though just how many building blocks Fitterer has traded away. Now some can’t be determined yet because it is still too early to judge, but what I have so far looks pretty alarming. Sam Darnold - Traded a 2021 6th rounder, 2022 2nd and 4th rounder Baker Mayfield - 2024 5th rounder Matt Corral - Swapped 2022 3rd’s & traded a 2023 3rd Bryce Young - 2023 1st & 2nd, 2024 1st, 2025 2nd & DJ Moore (All of those picks were just to find a QB) CJ Henderson - 2022 3rd, Dan Arnold & we received a 5th Stephon Gilmore - 2023 6th DJ Johnson - Swapped 2023 3rd’s, Traded 2023 4th To find a QB we traded 2 1st’s, 3 2nd’s, 3rd, 4th & 5th (8 total draft picks) & DJ Moore Can anyone think of anymore picks we gave up?

It’s hard just knowing we could have kept McCaffery and Moore. Traded Burns for 2 1st round picks instead and used those as a way to move up. All while keeping all the picks we gave up.

If he's really that upset then he needs to think about what to do next and do the opposite. I mean for fug sake he dropped Wilks who was winning with a mediocre team and brought in a coach who was just fired mid-season. He sucks as a decision maker. Fitt sucks as a GM. I would love to see a former player come in as a GM, like Greg Olsen or Thomas Davis, that would be my wish.

It feels like he bought the team just for the stadium. Takes the grass/sod out so he can do concerts. Brings the grass back in for soccer. Takes it back out for football where all of our players get hurt. Doesn’t seem like he cares much for the Panthers.

I'd make it incentive based. Extra million for each sack over 12 sacks.
