I'd have no problem trading Chinn if that's in the plans.
-
Yes! I was hoping for him.

How much cap space do we have after the trade?

One of my favorites so far...

Which of these FA WRs would you want to go after?

D.J. Chark would be great if he can stay healthy. -

I'd only do this if we know for a fact they're not taking the QB we want or if we legitimately have two guys rated equally. I'd ask for their other 1st rounder and would be willing to trade our 2nd to make it happen. With that pick we could take the best WR in the draft.

I hate to lose Moore, but WRs are much easier to replace than franchise QBs. I'm glad we kept the higher 2nd rounder this year, too.

It certainly wouldn't surprise me. But at the same time the Browns were the only team willing to give Watson a fully guaranteed contract. Even Tepper refused that, as bad as he wanted a QB. Could it be collusion? Very possibly. But it could also be a matter of a player wanting a contract that no QB-needy teams are willing to pay.

Per Matt Miller.. Panthers all in on Richardson?
Jay Roosevelt replied to micnificent28's topic in Carolina Panthers
At this point I do think we're going to have to still trade up to ensure we get Richardson. At least up to #5 or #6. My only concern is who the bridge QB is. I would hope they'd look for someone other than Sam Darnold to fill that role. We know how that story ends. There's no reason we shouldn't be able to draft Richardson and sit him for a year while still winning the division this year, but it'll take a better QB than Sam Darnold. Then again how nice would it be to end up picking high enough next year to draft Brock Bowers at TE for AR to throw to? -
Yeah don't overpay for Foreman. Too many good RBs in the draft.

This is why you've got players like Lamar Jackson wanting fully guaranteed $200M+ deals. When scrubs are getting paid like top-tier players, why shouldn't MVP candidates get crazy money?
-
That's literally the worst thing we could do. This draft is unusually top-heavy so trading back is a bad idea even if we don't trade up for a QB.
