    I don't buy the Raiders as a major threat to draft a QB. I feel like they're going to sign a veteran - probably Jimmy G. - in free agency.

    If he falls to the late 1st - and depending on what happens as far as trading up (or not) for a QB - then maybe. I have a feeling he's going to go earlier than some people except, though. I know RB isn't valued but he's a REALLY good prospect. I could easily see our old pal Riverboat Ron drafting him at #16.

    A lot of timid fans on this board who are content with mediocrity, it seems. The same thing happened back in 2011 when half the board wanted us to draft Marcel Dareus over Cam Newton because of the risk involved. They were wrong then. They're wrong now. Go get your franchise QB.

    "Elite" seems over the top. He's good; sometimes very good, but not consistent enough to be elite. But you're not wrong about the Raiders organization.

    What needs? #2 DE? #2 CB? #3 WR? TE? Which of those needs are holding us back more than not having a QB is?

    Carr is MUCH better than Darnold and Mayfield. He's also better than Teddy Bridgewater. We should still pass on signing him and DRAFT A fuging FRANCHISE QB!

    He wasn't my first choice (Steichen) but we could have done worse. But without a QB it won't matter who the coach is.
