  1. Can't wait for all the anti-Bryce folks to come and bash the one person who actually takes time to analyze film and figure out what's what because it doesn't fit their agenda. Outstanding work.
  2. Everyone saying they don't want Fitt to trade anymore is missing the point that this is no doubt a mandate from Tepper.
  3. The defense has been really solid, especially considering the injuries it's had to deal with. The run D has been suspect, but overall I think Evero has done a good job.
  4. Who knew that going into the season with no interior OL depth other than a 4th round rookie and one of your starters already on IR could result in this. Right, Fitterer?
  5. Give Evero a shot with Thomas Brown running the offense. Not sure who would take over on defense but I'd feel comfortable there with Evero as HC.
  6. I actually think this might be a much bigger factor than people realize.
  7. I think most Bryce haters would rather he be a bust so they can say "I told you so."
  8. I'm not talking about command and mentality; I'm talking about swagger. Cam is damn near unequaled in that area.
  9. If you think Bryce has looked worse than Clausen you've lost your mind.
  10. No QB ever has had Cam's swagger. This is what I'm talking about; people want Bryce to be Cam. He's not. He's not a similar personality type or a similar player type, and it has far too many people here seeing red.
  11. C.J. has made throws Bryce hasn't been allowed to attempt yet. There's a difference.
  12. Doesn't matter. He's not Cam so we should hate him.
  13. I've never seen such hate towards a player before. It's worse than the anti-Cam folks used to be.
  14. The "wine and cheese" crowd are about the only ones who can afford to go at this point.
  15. No, he really didn't. You guys act like Dalton looked like prime Peyton Manning. Bryce could put up 500 yards + 4 TDs and you guys are going to hate him regardless because he's not Cam Newton.
  16. Dalton threw the ball 58 times in Seattle; Bryce threw it 32 times against the Vikings and had a higher YPC. And Reich clearly opened the playbook up for Dalton while trying to continue to handcuff Bryce.
  17. Cam didn't have Jordan Gross for 1 year; he had him for his first 3 years. And it's not just left tackle; Cam had one of the best OLs we've ever assembled in 2015; certainly the best interior OL we've ever had with Turner-Kalil-Norwell, even if the tackles were exposed in the Super Bowl. Obviously Cam had times when he was surrounded by little talent (particularly WR) but there's no comparison to what Cam had to work with as a rookie and what Bryce has now. And that's without even touching the coaching/playcalling. Again, this is just plain wrong. Bryce has a plenty good enough arm to make NFL throws. All you have to do is watch him at Alabama; arm strength is about the only thing you can translate almost directly from college to the pros just by watching a QB play. I guarantee you they did not draft a QB #1 overall who can't throw past 10 yards. You think we were the only team that had Bryce as QB1? He was projected as a top-3 QB by practically everyone; you think that happens if his arm is so weak he can only throw screen passes? That's insanity. You guys are mistaking Reich's shitty conservative playcalling for Bryce having a weak arm. Again, is it Cam's arm? No. Josh Allen's arm? Clearly not. But those guys are anomalies and it's not common - nor is it required - for a top NFL QB to have that type of arm strength.
  18. Y'all are equating small size with a weak arm. Bryce does not have a weak arm. Was Cam's arm stronger? Of course. But most NFL QBs don't have an arm as strong as Cam's was. If Bryce Young fails in the NFL it won't be because his arm is too weak.
  19. Given the same personnel around him and the same play calls, almost all of them.
  20. I wanted him because I thought he was the best prospect. I'm no Alabama fan. I still think he was the best prospect. Frankly, I think a lot of people here are holding his size against him for no good reason other than he's not the 6'5, 250lb specimen Cam was. This thread asks how many of those throws Bryce could make; a better question is how many throws like that Cam would make if you put him in the mess Bryce has been thrown into. Cam had a solid OL, Williams/Stewart at RB, Steve Smith at WR, Greg Olsen and Jeremy Shockey at TE and an offensive coordinator who was looking to be aggressive and throw downfield. Bryce has Frank "remember the 90s" Reich calling plays, Chandler Zavala shitting the bed at one guard spot and some random waiver wire pickup at the other, one reliable receiver who also happens to be 33 years old, absolutely zero running game and an invisible TE group to throw to. But go ahead and keep being mad because he's not able to replicate one of the best rookie QB seasons of all time.
  21. Cam is gone, guys. Stop hating Bryce because he's not Cam.
