I'm not suggesting I can't be wrong. Truth be told I don't know if Bryce is the guy, but I do think he deserves more of a chance than many fans are giving him. At this point it's clear this isn't a playoff team, so everyone just needs to calm the hell down and breathe. Today wasn't pretty but I actually felt better about Bryce after this game than after any other game this season. This was the first time they seemed to take the handcuffs off of Bryce. He made some mistakes, but also some really nice plays. I'll take that as a win, even in a loss.

The third TD drive was garbage time; the second TD drive in the early 4th quarter was definitely not.

He's the exact same player he has been; a good pass rusher but not elite. No question he should be traded, IMO. I wouldn't accept a low-ball offer, though. It's gotta be a 1st + something else.

I liked the signing when we made it and have defended the contract but at this point I just can't anymore. He's been awful.

This is what I've been saying. Yes, he's thrown 2 picks, but he's also shown more flashes today than we've seen so far. That's how rookie QBs develop, not by handing the ball off and throwing bubble screens every other play.

Between Chuba and Laviska there's no reason for Miles Sanders to touch the ball again this season.

Yeah, at least he was trying to make a play. I can live with those as long as he learns from them. The screen pass INT was MUCH more frustrating to me.
