Panthers founder Jerry Richardson passes away at 86
cookinwithgas replied to mcsmoak's topic in Carolina Panthers
Max Muhleman. I got to spend an afternoon with him at his house installing a computer and he was a very interesting man to talk to. The response to the PSL concept made the awarding of the franchise a no risk decision for the NFL. -

Thank you to everyone that took the time to vote for her. I’m sure she’s having the time of her life right now with her husband, Jeff. Looking forward to tailgating with them again next season!

Just to demonstrate the level of fandom she provided this year, she actually went to the Bengals game. And stayed for it.

A good indicator of a successful filmmaker is passion. If you try to take his views on without knowing what you’re talking about, he has no problem tearing you apart. He’s emotional and empathetic. You know, a Hollywood liberal.

I was pretty stoked when Ep2 claimed the problem started in a factory west of Jakarta, since I worked setting up a factory in West Jakarta in the 90s, and then the characters lived in Boston, where I lived for a while. My cousin worked in a Verizon store and a school right there at Faneuil Hall where all those dormant zombies were out in the street. EP3 this week.

I’ve gotten halfway through the movie, saving the rest for when it’s quiet at the house and I can concentrate on watching it. At one point when my wife was messing around in the kitchen, she came out and leaned against the couch for about 10 minutes, intrigued by the movie. So far it’s interesting and has some great lines and writing overall. The B-17 scene looked far better than I thought it could. This movie is a massive jump in quality and thoughtfulness compared to his first movie, which I thought just the fact that it was made was amazing.

Pizza Hut is bringing back a fan favorite from the ’90s
cookinwithgas replied to scpanther22's topic in Huddle Lounge
The part of western Massachusetts where I grew up was filled with great ethnic restaurants, and we had an insane choice of all kinds of different local pizzerias. I never ate a a chain pizza until I joined the navy. That being said, I enjoy Pizza Hut a lot more than any of the other places. -
Couldn’t agree more. Always a blast using logic and reason to flame the right wing loonies

I know this is a pretty stupid question, but in the SF DAL third-quarter as they cut to a commercial break, there was a song that was on for like two seconds, and it was an organ just playing like a chord, then a pause, then the same chord, and down one. I love that tune but for the life of me I can’t remember the song. Did anyone hear it and know what it was? Driving me nuts.

Go on record now before the hire is made Re: Sean Payton

I have a strong dislike for that guy, do not want him as our coach, and remember bounty gate like it was yesterday. I have no idea how I would handle this news, I love my team and I’m a PSL owner who will have to buy tickets regardless. -

Damar Hamlin Released from Hospital
cookinwithgas replied to Sgt Schultz's topic in Carolina Panthers
Unfortunately, I’ve spent a lot of time in hospitals this past year or two, and one thing I can say is the medical system is amazing at keeping people alive as long as they can get to them in time. Those paramedics on the field did the hard work and it was very fortunate they were right there to start treatment. I had a good feeling that when they said they were giving him oxygen and taking him to the hospital that they were going to be able to keep him alive. He’s young, strong, and just had something terrible happened to him.
