  1. Dude has some GREAT pocket awareness, feels pressure well and moves around to avoid defenders while keeping his eyes downfield. He even steps up in the pocket instead of bailing backwards. Dude has a canon arm too. Like flick of the wrist and ball goes 50 yards. He has all the potential in the world to be a great QB, but would we have the staff to develop him?
  2. https://sports.yahoo.com/florida-qb-anthony-richardson-declares-181019855.html The more I dive into him, the more I like him. Perfect scenario where we draft him includes hiring Shane Steichen and signing Minshew as a bridge QB. Gives him time to learn the offense and still allows us to compete with the rest of the roster in place.
  3. Richardson just declared for the draft https://sports.yahoo.com/florida-qb-anthony-richardson-declares-181019855.html
  4. 1. Teddy 2. Allen 3. Everyone else Heinecke has looked serviceable in DC, but he only played like twice for us so we can't really count him as a positive here in Carolina. Matt Rhule really found a way to bring out the worst in all his QBs.
  5. Math is off, he is well below the 70% threshold and there was next to no way he would break it even if he started the rest of the way.
  6. I would assume he didn't get a first round grade, but got the evaluation he needed one more year in college to "prove it" to solidify his stock.
  7. I was high on Corral before the draft, but the road to him becoming even a competent QB in the NFL is long and twisted. The Coach who drafted him has been fired, also likely that the OC who seemed to love him will as well, he hardly played/practiced leading up to the draft due to an ankle injury in his bowl game, then he got next to no reps in the preseason because of history's saddest QB competition, then got injured in the preseason preventing him from taking valuable reps at practice he would need to get up to NFL game speed throughout his rookie year. We are coming up on a calendar year since Corral played any relevant football, and by the time offseason activities kick off it will be roughly 18 months since he saw extended action even in a practice environment, not even counting the NFL level. Dude got worst case scenario'd in terms of the team he got drafted to.
  8. I'd be fine with a kid like Richardson if we picked up Steichen and signed Minshew to bridge the gap until Richardson is ready. Minshew could game manage this current squad to the playoffs with competent coaching.
  9. He agreed to do it though. "Hey Drew, want to do a dumb publicity stunt? "Nah, that's stupid" ^ How it should have happened.
  10. I can't recall a HC getting fired midseason and coming back, still in the middle of the season, to interview with a local reporter just so he can try and make himself look better. Dude just shut the fug up and go away. You're making yourself look exponentially worse and bringing more hate from the area onto yourself.
  11. Guys, I think I found our QB of the future:
  12. No. Hire Steichen Sign Minshew as a bridge QB Draft a Rookie QB in the first, whoever that may be. Profit for the next 10+ years.
  13. Black "Panthers" do not exist, they are just black jaguars/leopards. Our mascot is as real as Unicorns and Dragons. We could make our main color whatever we wanted and it would work. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Black_panther My apologies for being "that guy"
  14. I don't think he will outwardly say anything though. If anything, he will say all the right things to the media, take personal responsibility, then something in the offseason will happen and it will leak "from someone in Russ' Camp" that Russ was livid and hated ____ and it was all _____'s fault.
  15. This article from a few years ago talks about how the seahawks never formed a dynasty, and at the heart of it was the way that Wilson received special treatment: https://www.si.com/nfl/2018/09/07/seattle-seahawks-dismantling-rift-russell-wilson-pete-carroll This article from the offseason goes into some good detail: https://www.espn.com/nfl/story/_/id/34531802/inside-russell-wilson-seattle-seahawks-drama-led-denver-broncos-trade A few nuggets: The rest goes on to explain how he was talking out of both sides of his mouth about loving seattle and trying to be traded at the same time. Very Two-faced behavior. Other examples: ^ Wilson can't be reached directly from his teammates, they have to go through his manager The whole "Broncos country, Let's ride" thing all season and how unauthentic and manufactured it seems. Mr. Unlimited: When he was injured last year, he made sure all the cameras were on him and saw him working out before games and then he made sure he stood by Pete Carroll all game so they could see him. His outwardly Christian persona also seems to rub people the wrong way since he makes it a known part of his identity. Instead of walking the walk, he makes sure to talk about all the walking he does with it, if that makes sense? His Toxic Positivity also seems to be an issue. The fact that he's always "Up" and never shows any outward signs of frustration/emotion, and is always being "Rah Rah" makes him seem robotic and not human. His overall lack of self awareness. I saw a Seahawk fan describe Wilson as "A walking brand". Everything he says and does feels so calculated, unauthentic, and scripted. He's not a bad person, by any means, he just seems to be fake, corny, and attention seeking while acting like he's not. I don't personally hate Rus, I just think he has a large Ego, pretends that he doesn't, and isn't as good as he thinks he is. He's also a little bit weird and robotic.
  16. Oh dude, I absolutely loved Wilson coming out of BYU. Loved me some Carson Strong this past year too. Wasn't a fan of Herbert that year he came out. Didn't necessarily want Cam either. Basically my opinions of QBs suck and no one should listen to me.

  18. The Raven's Defense stuffed our entire run game, not just Foreman. Chuba did himself no favors and played a bad game on top of playing a good defense. Can we all agree that Chuba shouldn't even be on the roster?
  19. It's actually the opposite. Sam was one of the worst QBs in the league when he was not under pressure. He just happened to be even worse when he was under pressure.
  20. I started to watch this then realized I don't care about anything he has to say. He is no longer our problem.
  21. I really like Young's game. I'd take him over Stroud and Levis.
  22. Cousins is pretty good. They just beefed the contract becuase their ownership on down is incompetent.
  23. Now's the time to double dip at QB then. Take one in the first then take Hooker in the 4th or 5th for shits and gigs a-la the Redskins back in 12 with Griffin and Cousins.
