  1. What I find so interesting is how BUTTHURT people get over these player rankings before the draft even happens. 100 different guys can evaluate 100 different prospects and each list would be completely different. No real way to see how good these predictions are until a few years down the line.
  2. Dude. Stop it. I posted his previous year predictions below this years list where he ranked Lamar Jackson and Kyler Murray as his top QBs in the respective classes, as well as an article detailing how he thought Mahomes was the most special talent in the 2017 draft.
  3. Trade up for Wilson plz. I am smitten by the Disney Channel Star.
  4. Dude can only do so much when the QB's we have been trotting out are TD pass avers the past two seasons. Only 33 Passing Touchdowns from our QBs combined the past two seasons. For perspective, Friggin Gardner Minshew, who has only played in 23 games the past two seasons, has thrown 37 alone.
  5. We won't know for years. But still... Honestly he's the dude who's QB rankings I have been waiting on with baited breath. Pobody's nerfect but this dude seems to be able to evaluate QBs and how well they will transition to the NFL more accurately than most.
  6. "Jackson? He is insane to put that dude that high." -People in 2018
  7. Now, Before you all get your panties in a wad over these rankings and talk about how much of an idiot Chris Simms is, Take a look at his track record: 2018 1) Lamar Jackson 2) Josh Allen 3) Baker Mayfield 4) Sam Darnold 5) Josh Rosen 2019 1) Kyler Murray 2) Drew Lock 3) Dwayne Haskins 4) Ryan Finley 5) Jarrett Stidham 6) Daniel Jones 7) Clayton Thorson 8 ) Will Grier 2020 1) Joe Burrow 2) Justin Herbert 3) Jordan Love 4) Tua Tagovailoa The only true "Miss" in these rankings, so far, is Daniel Jones, and even he hasn't really lit the world on fire yet. He didn't make a list in 2017 but he did say that Mahomes was the most special QB talent in that draft. So yeah, discuss homies
  8. Great watch and every single one of those guys could fill a need on our roster next year: Curious to hear what some of you think about these guys, specifically @Verge TL;DW Amari Rodgers Tyree Gillespie Jamin Davis Demetric Felton Tamorrion Terry
  9. Well Teddy is Teddy but another quarterback could be anything. He could even be the BOAT! You know how much we've wanted one of those. I'll take the mystery QB.
  10. Yeah, like maybe, I dunno, 8 times at the end of the 4th quarter throughout the season giving the offense the ball back with enough time to mount a game winning drive in order to win a game? Is 8 times once in a while? 8 times seems like once in a while to me.
  11. My argument against that is we had the best MLB in a generation in 2019 and no QB and our team was butthole. QB makes the whole team go. Without one, we are not going to win anything.
  12. I understand what you're saying but we need a QB over all other positions right now. A good QB mitigates weaknesses throughout the roster. The trade up would be worth it to me. There are other rounds than just the first and good GM's can find good players in those rounds too.
  13. In my mind you take that risk on a QB. Also no one can really say how well anyone can hold up over the course of a career. Look at Andrew Luck and Jake Locker for example. Those dudes were huge but had to retire due to injuries.
  14. I want him. If we don't get Watson I want us to trade up to 2 to get him.
  15. Stupid brain injury to Michael Oher
  16. No, you're not wrong. I think as far as draft pundits go his mocks are right at the top of the bell curve. He's not the worst and he's not the best. The draft really is a crapshoot, some teams take guys off the board for reasons others don't mind and when trades are made it throws everything completely out of whack. I think he basis his mock around team needs, whereas some base their mocks around BPA and or scheme fit.
  17. Please let me re-iterate: Mock Drafts between now and right before the draft are created for clicks and views and they make dumb changes to get people talking and visiting their crap more. I will not be taking any mock as gospel until right before the draft.
  18. I would draft Tony Romo in the first round. Tony Romo was not the issue in Dallas.
  19. I will not root for this team if Jameis Winston is ever signed. Full stop.
  20. To be fair it's harder to pick all pro talent when you're drafting in the mid to late 20's compared to the top 10 because your teams actually make it to the playoffs. Also, comparatively based on draft position and output, Gettleman's drafts were better than Hurney's based on value and production: Source
