  1. We have two QB3's on our roster. Deciding between the two turds is not going to doom our Coach. Let's wait for our new GM to get us some better backup QB competition before we start claiming the sky is falling.
  2. He's cut a few Temple/Baylor guys the past two years. He's kept more than he's cut though.
  3. We just cut Kirkwood, so no, I doubt they think that.
  4. Kenny Robinson to a potential Safety needy team. Shown flashes in the Preseason. One of our RBs to a team who has suffered an injury at the position recently. One of our WRs - Bayless, Kirkwood, Zylstra, Moore - Specifically to the Detroit Lions who are ridiculously thin at that position this year. Will Grier to Hurney up in DC, because Man crush and all. That's about all I've got.
  5. Yeah but Wilson is like, really really cute tho.
  6. We've been asking this for months. I'm sure we've kicked the tires. Not sure what KJ wright thinks he's worth or what he's asking, but I don't know if he can come in and contribute at a high level at this point in the offseason. He'd need to get into football shape and that takes some time. I dunno man.
  7. Discouraged by the way he looked at the start. Encouraged by the way that he looked after that first TD.
  8. He looked very uncomfortable at the beginning of the game. After his first TD pass it looked like the weight of the world was removed from his shoulders and he looked waaaaaaaaaaay more comfortable.
  9. Pro Day: Dude has a CANNON. Made those long ones look easy.
  10. I will say, watching some of Sam's INT's from the past, a good number of them were him trying to play hero ball and trying to make a big play happen when the play broke down, or the team was in a bind. That kind of stuff CAN be coached out - If the coaching staff is halfway decent. Honestly, the fact he threw one of his two passes out of the endzone on Sunday shows that he might actually be making progress because in years past, I'm not sure if he would have done the same thing instead of forcing a ball into the EZ to make a big play. I remain cautiously optimistic.
  11. So it finally starts at 9:30 and he says "The Panthers have traded Denzel Washington to the Raiders for a 6th and 7th Round Pick"... Then complains it makes Fitt look like he's only looking forward to next season and given up this year. So I can't take him too seriously.
  12. Fitterer out here Playing Madden IRL. "Lemme just sign this dude in FA and flip him for some draft picks later"
  13. What's funny is THEY passed on Fields to give Lock a shot... At least Darnold is actually starting for us...
  14. We have the space to squeeze that in there this year. Drops the hit for the next two seasons. It's honestly not a bad deal at all.
  15. It's why I always disagree with everyone that says the Matt KAlil Deal was the worst deal in our team's history. They always claim it was 50 million, but it was only 25 guaranteed. It wasn't a good deal by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't as crippling as everyone painted it to be. The Teddy deal on the other hand, absolute garbage.
  16. Ravens bring in a kicker every year and they have the literal GOAT in Justin Tucker: This year it's a rookie from ECU https://www.baltimoresun.com/sports/ravens/bs-sp-ravens-kickers-20210823-mt3cbg42gvaolallwj2t7bqurm-story.html A few years back they flipped Vedvick for a 5th rounder before preseason was over: https://ravenswire.usatoday.com/2019/08/11/ravens-trade-k-p-kaare-vedvik-to-vikings-for-5th-round-pick-in-2020-nfl-draft/ Granted, it's not really a competition, because he's the GOAT, but most teams bring in a second leg for training camp at the very least.
  17. It's been injuries honestly. Injured in 2018, his rookie year. Won the job in Chicago in 2019, then got injured again in 2020 and was placed on IR.
  18. Been kicking around renaming this thread "Panthers should be trading for a Kicker"
