  1. Some of my favorite memories as a child involve shooting a goal down the ice to score a three point run. I miss it.
  2. We need to stop this Stroud Nonsense, It's obvious we traded up to take Will Levis. Why? Rhule was fired after the 49ers game in which the entire stadium was flooded with a sea of red jerseys in the crowd. What's the main color for OSU and Bama? Red. There'd just be bandwagon college fans jumping on board with the panthers showing up with their red shirts. What's the main color of Kentucky? Blue. The bandwagon fans could show up and seamlessly assimilate within the fanbase without ruining the color aesthetics of the gameday experience. Makes total sense when you think about it.
  3. Bruh had me thinking it's already Tuesday the week after spring break. Can't do that to me man. Now I'm sad.
  4. What's funny is back when he played he would probably think you were the problem. These days I think he'd tend to agree with you. Analyst Smitty is actually pretty good, has mellowed out, and is entertaining. I'm enjoying his post playing career. He also really has a knack for scouting WRs - He labeled Kupp as the best of their draft class.
  5. Great watch in all honesty. Great to hear how all in Steve has gotten into this whole process. Liked the part where Steve talked about the difference between being a leader and an Alpha dog, and admitted he was not a leader when he played and only knew how to be an A-Hole to "Lead". Good growth from Smitty on a personal level.
  6. Both Young and Stroud don't have a 40 listed. Obviously they aren't true competitors and therefor, undraftable.
  7. I'm cool with it. I'd personally prefer Stroud. I'd be cool with Young too though.
  8. It's funny watching the anti-bryce crowd get bent out of shape with reports that we like him, then watching the anti-stroud camp get butthurt with reports that we like him. Just enjoy the ride fellas
  9. Accuracy and lack of experience primarily. He played all of 12 games or so at Florida and didn't throw all that amazingly. His accuracy issues don't seem to be correctible like Allen's were based on his poor footwork. He just misses randomly. He does seem to read the field well and navigates the pocket better than anyone in the draft save for Young, He is a legitimate running threat at the next level as he is built like Cam but even faster, plus the howitzer attached to his right shoulder make him intriguing. But overall lack of experience and accuracy issues make him a huge risk.
  10. You can't look at that and tell me the silver helmet is better. I can't accept it. I'd honestly be fine with the above updates, not too much, maybe swap some pants for home and away, but as far as redesigns go, those aren't terrible.
  11. Ironically enough, Chubba looked way better once the guy that advocated for him to be drafted was gone. As soon as an adult was leading the room, he was utilized properly and not made to be a receiving threat out of the backfield because of his stone hands. I was honestly surprised at how competent he looked once Rhule was gone.
  12. Indeed he did. No shade from me, CJ balled out against Georgia. I'm honestly peppering a ton of pro Young content not because I necessarily like him better than Stroud, but because the majority of the fanbase seems to be against him because of his size when his game itself is actually really good and we should be happy if he's the pick. Kind of want to be proactive in letting the fanbase down gently in the event Young is the pick and not Stroud, because there is a ton to like about both, not just one over the other.
  13. MHJ got knocked unconscious in the final minute of the 3rd quarter. OSU didn't score another TD the rest of the game, but CJ marched them down the field twice for two FG attempts. Kicker missed the final that would have won the game, Georgia won. CJ did is best to put the team in a chance to win, kicker blew it.
  14. It means he throws guys open. It means that he is in such control of the offense, he throws the ball to a spot and expects a guy to be there even before he breaks his route. He does it a ton on film, it has nothing to do with compensation for height or arm strength. He reads defenses well enough to know where to place a ball on a look before a receiver can get there. It's the kind of Crap Manning and Brees did all the time in the pros. JT talks about "Uppercase 'A' and lowercase 'a' Anticipation throws" in a lot of his videos. He has high praise for guys who start their throwing motion right when a guy breaks, and even higher praise when he starts his motion before the receiver even makes a move. Young has more "Uppercase 'A'" throws than Stroud does from JT's perspective.
  15. You are correct, I was mixing him up with Egbuka, who is also better than any receiver currently on Bama at the moment, and also not entering the draft.
  16. ... Because Stroud was still throwing to better receivers? This past season he was throwing to Marvin Harrison Jr, the guy who would be the consensus #1 receiver if he were eligible this year and JSN, a first round player coming out this season. Last year he had Olave and Wilson, both first round receivers. Young had Williams last season and not much this year. Young was carrying his team this year, whereas OSU was just a better all around team. Yes Young's numbers took a hit in terms of volume stats, but his y/a, ay/a, and QB rating are pretty much identical. He was just as efficient with a worse team surrounding him. You can be a fan of Stroud over Young, but even the staunchest of Stroud supporters even admit Stroud had a better supporting cast. The argument that Young's receivers made him just seems completely disingenuous based on everything.
  17. Sure, he was at Bama so they weren't dog crap, but let's not kid ourselves that Stroud didn't have the better supporting cast this past year, both at receiver and on the line. Recruiting rankings don't mean much if they aren't playing up to potential on the field.
  18. The argument could be made that Young had to rely on that element of his game because his supporting cast on the line was that much worse and he had to run around in order to survive. Both are capable of dropping back and passing. Both have shown the ability to scramble and extend plays, one just did so far more often than the other. I will say Young has a better feel/navigation in the pocket than Stroud though. Stroud has the stronger arm and throws a prettier ball.
  19. For real, I haven't watched ESPN for years at this point, and the moment I saw him on screen I was visibly shocked. Poor guy is looking rough as hell, didn't realize he has been battling cancer. Hope he pulls through.
  20. Yeah that was interesting to me too. They both have extremely good tape as well, so who knows? I'm good with either.
  21. 1. Bryce Young 2. CJ Stroud 3. Anthony Richardson 4. Will Levis 5. Hendon Hooker Says he's seen both CJ and Bryce play at the elite 11 right next to each other. Holds a ton of weight for him apparently. Says Stroud would have had to play the same way he did against Georgia every game to be considered on Young's level. Says Height is less of an issue than it was 15-20 years ago and Young should be fine in the pros. Also goes on to say that where they end up is a huge factor in determining how successful they will become, but as of now likes Young more for his ability to read the field and make high anticipatory throws more often than Stroud does.
