  1. Be honest though, there's WAY more examples of the WRs not getting separation than there are of Bryce not pulling the trigger. That's not even all on the WRs, that's on the scheme doing absolutely nothing to give them space to work with. The offense is a mess top to bottom.
  2. I support the other Cat teams in Detroit and Jacksonville. More Detroit than Jacksonville because Those fans deserve it.
  3. There hasn't been a one and done hiring yet. Rivera got to year two, hurney got to year 3, Rhule got to year three, and fitt is on year 3. Reich would be the first one and done. Texans did it two years in a row before they hired Ryans.
  4. He also was concussed to hell. This was before the league took that stuff more seriously. He would have been taken out of the game these days.
  5. Please get a disparaging chant going at the FO and Tepper's expense. Something like "Sell the team" or "Fire Everyone"
  6. I have a friend that works in the FO and asked them this same question. They told me Tepper has a notebook filled with notes and quotes from people he has consulted around the league. It's on his desk 24/7 and Tepper refers to it often to try and give him some direction with the moves he makes and the people he hires. My friend is a huge fan of the team and hates the direction things are going. They actually took a picture and sent me one of the pages. Risking their anonymity by sharing it but screw it, you all need to see this:
  7. I 100% admit I drank the kool-aid. It was nice having hope for the first time in 3 years. Those 5 months were great. I trusted the powers that be to make the right decisions to hire a HC and then draft a franchise QB. Then the preseason happened and I was willing to give it time. Then the start of the season happened and I was willing to give it to the mid-point of the season to see improvement. Now we just lost to the team that holds our 1st round pick next year and we are in sole possession of the worst record in Football without the #1 overall pick to look forward to. We haven't even hit rock bottom and we're already lower as a franchise than we have ever been before. There is absolutely zero hope for the future which is the worst part. Our owner is incompetent and hires incompetent GMs and HCs. Go ahead and plan your vacations for the middle of the season next year, it's not going to get any better, no point in watching it. My fear is Tepper tries to overcompensate this offseason and signs a ton of mid-tier FAs to record breaking deals to try and offset the lack of a 1st round pick and to try and drum up excitement to sell tickets next year. Still trying to fix the train while it's moving. We are screwed until 2025 at the earliest but most likely screwed in perpetuity as long as Tepper is in charge.
  8. Stroud looks 100% legit. I'm just saying we can't write off Young just yet because this team is incredibly bad top to bottom.
  9. Yes, he looked great. But he also had receivers that were able to get open for him to hit once he scrambled, and those same receivers got open consistently even when he wasn't under duress. Watch the film for Bryce, he hits the final step in his drop and there's a guy in his lap and none of the receivers have finished their routes and ready to look for a pass. If he does manage to scramble out of it, there's still no one open so he either checks it down or scrambles for a few yards himself. Our scheme is dildos. Our receivers are dildos. The coaching is dildos. Stroud would probably be dildos for us much like Mahomes would have been Dildos with John Fox as his first head coach in Chicago.
  10. And Bryce's leading receiver this week was Mike Strachan, a 7th round pick for the Colts who was on the PS and was elevated to the active roster for the game against the Bears. He lead the team in receiving yards with one catch. That's how fuging sad our receiving corp is dude. I'd trade all of our guys for the Texan's guys in a heartbeat. That's why I honestly can't say how good Stroud would be doing with our absolutely terrible situation. I have no clue how Fitt wasn't shown the door 2 weeks ago, let alone why he was chilling in the box with Tepper on Thursday. The roster construction is a crime against football.
  11. I can see the Chargers firing Staley and retaining Moore to be HC if Herbert continues to play well under him, kind of like what the Bucs did when they fired lovie and retained Dirk Koetter
  12. Nico Collins is their #1, a third year 3rd rounder out of Michigan. He has over 600 yards receiving on the year and better than anyone we have (and who I personally had on my radar as a breakout candidate - I have had him stashed on my keeper league roster for 3 years in FF now). Their #2 WR is the Rookie Tank Dell who is playing fantastic for a 5th rounder and looks better (and faster) Than any Receiver we currently have. They also have Dalton Schultz at TE, a top 10 player at his position who I REALLY wanted us to target this offseason instead of Hayden Hurst. Noah Brown, The former 7th rounder you're talking about has played in 4 games this year. I don't know how good Bryce would look with the above mentioned guys but i'm pretty sure he'd look at least marginally better. You have been completely disingenuous about the whole thing regarding Stroud ever since we drafted Young. I get it, you wanted him, but go learn more about the team before you jump ship to be a Texans fan.
  13. I was going to support whoever we took and I still am but it's rough watching him break records and legitimately be in the MVP conversation right now. There's still no way in hell he's playing as well for us as he is for the Texans. Their receivers and offensive scheme are infinitely better than our own. I have no idea how much better he'd be at throwing 7 yard hitches to guys with zero separation as the line crumbles around him before he finishes his drop back. This situation was a no winner for any QB we brought in. I doubt MVP winner Patrick Mahomes from last season would look good in this putrid offense, We are just that bad.
  14. I work as a data analyst but I have worked in warehouses, as a dispatcher, and as project manager. One of the worst things you can do is take numbers at face value without looking at the context.
  15. we don't at this point. Dance with the one that brang ya. We have all of next year to truly evaluate bryce. I'm willing to give a young first time HC more leash than I am reich and this staff. With their experience we shouldn't be looking anywhere near this bad.
  16. For real. People need to rewatch the plays and try and point to a better option/decision than the one BRyce makes. 99% of the time you won't be able to. All the receivers are covered or the line has allowed pressure before he can get through his reads, sometimes both on the same play. He can't will his receivers open nor can he use fire to make his line block better. The scheme and personnel is the problem. I honestly don't know what more people want Bryce to do. You wish he had a stronger arm? OK, point to the plays we have run where arm strength would have helped him complete that 5 yard hitch where the receiver is completely covered the entire time. We aren't running any deep/intermediate routes because the line can't block long enough to make it happen.
  17. The problem is entirely on the coaching staff and the scheme they have developed. Bryce isn't even making a ton of bad decisions or reads, he's throwing the ball to the "Right" guy with the way the plays are drawn up, it's just they are terrible plays to begin with. This is why I want them to clean house and bring in a new staff and FO top to bottom. Reich is an idiot for running this dogshit scheme and Fitt is an idiot thinking he plugged the holes that would allow Reich to run his dogshit scheme to begin with. The fact that they thought we were a good QB away from competing just shows how out of touch and unaware of anything this entire franchise is at the moment. Clean house. Don't drag it out like with Rhule. It's not working and it's obvious. Cut your losses, try again.
  18. This failure is not on Bryce, it's on the coaches and scheme. Watch the all-22 breakdowns of our offense that are out there. CJ Stroud would be looking just as bad as Bryce does right now. There is nowhere to go with the ball on any one dropback. Bryce isn't making bad decisions, the plays themselves are just bad. The scheme sucks, the line sucks, the receivers suck, no one is good in this system. It's not even worth comparing Bryce to Stroud and getting upset, compare the scheme and personnel that they were surrounded with. That's the thing to get upset about.
  19. There are no shots to even take to begin with. These receivers aren't even getting "NFL Open" on a consistent basis, and even when they are the line isn't holding up long enough for Bryce to find them.
  20. They had all offseason to put a scheme that would fit our rookie QB, do you really trust them to do it now? I don't.
  21. Bryce isn't helping but the entire scheme itself is complete dogshit top to bottom. The only way to unfug this is to fire everyone and start over.
  22. I have no idea how you kick that field goal with piniero. Everyone knows he doesn't have the leg, don't even blame the kicker, that choice was just asinine.
