  1. Dude had another ridiculous catch that was wiped by a holding on Icky earlier than that. He is a legit NFL Receiver.
  2. Even on that second pick Bryce threw, Had that ball been thrown any higher, Coker was coming down with that ball. Coker had it in his hands reaching down and over the defender, the defender just happened to turn around at the best moment and react to the ball being thrown right at him.
  3. #3? floor is #2, Ceiling is GOAT.
  4. Too early to call it a fitterer draft, we have no idea if everyone sucks or not. right now 3 of our picks are contributing significantly already in their rookie years with the potential for a 4th in brooks. Also, he got us a 2nd round pick back for the 2025 draft, so that's another positive. That's already better than a fitterer draft, but again, too early to tell if everyone sucks or not. If all 4 of the players end up at least mid, that's a better draft than Fitt ever had.
  5. Wouldn't be surprised if we were just waiting it out for yet another WR to get hurt somewhere else in the NFL so the asking price gets bumped up as high as possible.
  6. I think Morgan is qualified. Hell he was probably more qualified than Fitt. Problem is he was here to help build the steamer last year so he was tainted. This is a hall pass year with Morgan and Canales, for me at least. Morgan did everything he could to help Bryce succeed this season to the detriment of the defense, but we all knew that going into the season. This was going to be the rebuild year we should have had back in 2020. Because Bryce poo the bed so hard we need to sell whatever assets we have left and stockpile as much draft capital as possible. Look for improvement next season, this year is a lost cause so there's no sense getting upset.
  7. It's fine, they have their backup sex offender ready to go:
  8. You know what? You might actually be on to something. Since 2018, we have the worst record in the NFL. What year was Thomas drafted? 2018... I anticipate the team getting a meteoric boost once he is gone.
  9. He needs to work on turning up field and going north/south when contact approaches. There were numerous receptions yesterday where he tried to avoid contact and ended up either going backwards or leaving some yards on the table because of it. He is a rookie but better and more involved than any rookie TE I can ever really remember us having.
  10. Since Brees has retired, they have gone: 9-8 missed the playoffs 7-10 missed the playoffs 9-8 missed the playoffs they are currently 2-4 and will most likely miss the playoffs again, even if they manage to hover around .500 They're in purgatory, which is the worst place to be in the NFL. They're not good enough to make the playoffs but too good to get high draft picks to help get them out of the funk. Add to that the cap gymnastics they have to do every year and they can't get our of the current spot they're in. It's fools gold false hope year in and year out. At least we know where we stand.
  11. Sanders is gone after this year, and once that happens, I have no issues giving his salary to Chuba*. Chuba is an interesting case where I think the benefits of re-signing him aren't strictly related to play on the field. Dude was a 4th round pick drafted to spell an all-pro in CMC and looked every bit of a backup his first year. But he worked his ass off and improved year over year, significantly and is now top 5 in rushing once he was finally given a chance as the #1 back. By all accounts he is one of, if not THE, hardest worker on the team. You need guys like that on the roster. I'm not a huge fan of re-signing running backs, but Chuba has earned his money, and I'd hate to see him go - And I say this as one of his certified haters a few seasons back. If it pans out with Brooks we could have our own version of what Detroit has in their backfield with Montgomery and Gibbs. * - As long as we don't reset the RB market like Hurney used to love to do and he takes essentially the same money per year as Sanders currently does. If that is the case then his contract would actually be a better value than Sanders' current deal due to the increase in cap year over year.
  12. Guys, I think Coker actually did get Mingo's snaps.
  13. not necessarily in the first but I'm all for taking one at some point.
  14. I have never felt more prematurely validated than I do in this moment for my love all things Jalen Coker. He very well could just be a JAG but I'll be damned if the dude isn't running some crisp ass routes and catching everything thrown at him. He has shown more in his 7 catches than I have seen in all of Mingo's 55
  15. At this point, I can't say one way or another. The offense as a whole has shown significant improvement since last season, mainly due to the line and benching bryce, but he's still producing well designed plays and we are scoring points (aside from last week) and being aggressive. Our biggest issue right now is talent. We have none. This is like last season but switched where one side of the ball is so devoid of talent the other struggles due to it. This year the offense is solid if not spectacular, but props for Canales for pointing that side of the ball in the right direction. Our issue is the Defense, who was thin to begin with due to gutting that side in order to sure up the offense to try and aid Bryce, and then having all the marginal to solid talent get injured every single game. We are down to our 3rd and 4th string MLBs, our 2nd and 3rd DEs, our 4th and 5th OLBs. Our front 7 is filled with backups and practice squad level players. So I really don't know at this point. It is too early to tell. This year is a freebie for me with him. If we come out next year with a few more pieces on the defensive side of the ball, our young receivers get better and our linemen get healthy and we show improvement, I'm good. From the outset I said this was going to be like Dan Campbell's year 1. We have so much that needs to get fixed that whatever we did this offseason wouldn't be enough. We have no talent and no depth behind that lack of talent thanks to the return of Hurney, Rhule, and Fitterer.
  16. There's a difference between your head dropping while you try to throw a shoulder in order to tackle, and lowering your head to use it like a weapon, which is what Tremble did. The broncos game in 2016, that was bullshit and those dudes launched into Cam with the crowns of their helmets as weapons. This is calling a spade a spade. There is no injustice here. The alternate angle shows what happened more clearly and explains why the league acted the way it did.
  17. He did not lower his helmet, Alternate angle shows Brisker turning his body and leading with his shoulder, tremble ducked and used his head as a battering ram and paid the price both physically and financially.
  18. That was tremble's fault. He ducked his head down to initiate contact, the league fines that. Neither player would have gotten concussed had tremble not done so. It sucks but it is deserved.
  19. And the roster control and poo drafts that resulted from it.
