Sounds like Jets' 2nd pick is open for business...?
Ricky Spanish replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
It's not any one game, Wilson showed throughout the year that he was a top 10 worthy pick based on how he throws guys open, throws with anticipation, and throws incredibly accurately while improvising. Coastal was not on him. At all. Watch the film again, he was dropping dimes that were getting dropped left and right. -
Sounds like Jets' 2nd pick is open for business...?
Ricky Spanish replied to TheCasillas's topic in Carolina Panthers
I am not reading it that way from his comments. It's more of a "It is what it is" kind of vibe. Like as of now, Darnold is the starter but whatever they do he'll be ready to catch passes from the QB, whoever that may be. I say this as one of the people pounding the drum to trade up for Wilson. -
So at the very least, I'm assuming that Buzbee has documented evidence that Watson reached out and contacted each of these women for a massage either through email/text/instagram. Watson, being an NFL player, has access to some of the best medical staff/resources in the country. With this in mind, he still reached out to 20+ masseuses/massage therapists (all women) over the past year or so. Under normal circumstances, you find someone who does a good job at the service you're looking for, and you stick with that person (Think barber, lawncare, house cleaner, etc.). At the very best, dude has a massage fetish because there is no good reason he should be looking for outside help in terms of massage therapy, let alone 20+ different women to do the job for him. At the very worst, dude HAD to go through 20+ massage therapists because none would service him more than once due to his rapey vibes trying to prey on unsuspecting victims.

Kyle Pitts as a WR/TE Good for Carolina ?
Ricky Spanish replied to Leotiger's topic in Carolina Panthers
I'd take Pitts at 8 and Mond at 39. Can't guarantee we'd get Mond though. -
You know Tepper is chomping at the bit to start his own "Football team the Musical" franchise on Amazon Prime.

I'll update your OP for you homie

No way to tell honestly. Some dudes are injury prone, others are not. Some dudes that never have injuries in college make it into the NFL and get hurt all the time and vice versa. One thing is true, he's a tough little SOB and played through his injuries in college, and his shoulder injury wasn't a career threatening one, just a lingering issue from high school. Once that was all cleaned up he was a stud. Plus he looks like a Disney star.

I think that was more of a showcase of his ability to make any throw on the field. Even ones where guys are double covered. That clip wasn't so much about the read as it was the arm talent.

Sunday Ticket is dead. Long live Sunday Ticket

quoting for the future if nflbite goes down. -
Anyone who has drawn a conclusion already one way or the other, from the very little information or substance provided, needs to chill the hell out and wait. We don't know what is true yet. If it turns out he's a scumbag rapist, a lot of you people are going to look like real mysognistic, incel dicks. If he is innocent, a lot of you are going to look like a rabid pitch, fork wielding, blood thirsty mob working themselves up into a frenzy to take down the celebrity. The facts right now are that he's been accused by multiple women of some really shady things, and he denies it. That's it. Those are literally all the facts that we know right now. Literally everything else is speculation.

LV really bonered that didn't they? Had a few offers on the table for him at one point from what I understand.

@Verge what is the percentage that this happens vs. not happens?
-
The only team you mentioned in front of us is the Falcons. Ryan has a ton left in the tank to where they don't need to think about a new QB until 2 years from now. The others, well, we have more trade leverage.
-
If that's the floor for a Watson, count me out. Trade up to 2 or 3 for a fraction of that cost and get a rookie.
-
He's still #1 on my QB wish list and I want us to trade up to take him badly.

Go for it. I'll pin it if someone else runs it.

Panthers Free Agent Signings Thread
Ricky Spanish replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
I don't think he goes to WFT. Ron and co had no idea how to best utilize his skillset. Either that, or they never gave him the opportunities he was deserved. -
Panthers Free Agent Signings Thread
Ricky Spanish replied to Ricky Spanish's topic in Carolina Panthers
Ended up having to do actual work yesterday, not fun football related work. Then I passed out early after the kids got home. OP has been updated with our two signings and release of importance. -

Closest comparison from recent years was probably Doug Baldwin of Seattle.
