I will say, watching some of Sam's INT's from the past, a good number of them were him trying to play hero ball and trying to make a big play happen when the play broke down, or the team was in a bind. That kind of stuff CAN be coached out - If the coaching staff is halfway decent. Honestly, the fact he threw one of his two passes out of the endzone on Sunday shows that he might actually be making progress because in years past, I'm not sure if he would have done the same thing instead of forcing a ball into the EZ to make a big play. I remain cautiously optimistic.

We have the space to squeeze that in there this year. Drops the hit for the next two seasons. It's honestly not a bad deal at all.

It's why I always disagree with everyone that says the Matt KAlil Deal was the worst deal in our team's history. They always claim it was 50 million, but it was only 25 guaranteed. It wasn't a good deal by any stretch of the imagination, but it wasn't as crippling as everyone painted it to be. The Teddy deal on the other hand, absolute garbage.

How much guaranteed? 29 mil means nothing if it's only like 17 guaranteed.

It's been injuries honestly. Injured in 2018, his rookie year. Won the job in Chicago in 2019, then got injured again in 2020 and was placed on IR.

If we get a legit LT then we can slide BC inside and have Guard taken care of for the foreseeable future as well. He could be backup RT in the event Moton goes down, but I think the staff sees his future on the inside.

The big question is what, and or who, would we give up for a tackle? Are there any WR needy teams out there that have excess tackles? Would they want Robby Anderson? Our receiver corp seems pretty damn deep this year, a guy that's good isn't going to make the final roster cuts, so maybe he's a pawn in the trade. Could we also be looking at dealing our first or third next year (we don't have a second)? We Demand Answers

Minshew was my first seasonable choice for a Teddy replacement this season. We got Darnold. Minshew has played better than Darnold up to this point in their respective careers. I'd still love Minshew.

Luke has absolutely 0 ties to any coaching staff/front office people in the building anymore. All those guys are either in Buffalo or DC. I'm neither offended, nor surprised at this. I'm just glad Luke looks healthy.

Vanilla defensive scheme. I'd be more concerned for the QBs that don't look marginally average in these situations... (Grier)
