  1. Obviously we have plenty of needs, the most pertinent determining who our next HC and starting QB will be. Outside of this we need to be looking at the rest of our offense. Specifically someone who can get open and catch a pass. DJ is too hot and cold. TMJ ain’t it. Our TEs can’t be relied on for anything other than blocking. CMC obviously masked this deficiency and it’s glaring what our identity has been the last several weeks which is severely problematic when your RB averages less than 3 yard per carry multiple weeks. Saints now have 2 young and hungry studs at the WR position and if they settle their QB position it will be the same song and dance we’ve seen in this division all over again via Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Mike Evans setting records on this secondary and us not being able to keep pace with scoring. You guys want an offensive minded HC? Great. We need some offensive players too.
  2. Matt Rhule has a great track record of turning around programs too. How’d that work out? Grass isn’t always greener. For the record I’m not saying we should or shouldn’t retain him but to shoulder the blame solely on him for our woes is simply asinine.
  3. So who do you realistically bring in if not Wilks? The overused meme is for the overused bitching in this joint. All complaints and no solutions.
  4. Sam did enough to win those games if the running game wasn’t so abysmal.
  5. This. I have yet to see anyone blame our run game for our Steelers and Bucs losses respectively. Say what you will about CMCs injury history but the dude has played all year and I don’t ever recall a time where he averaged 2.3 yards per carry on multiple occasions. Our current tandem is the definition of “boom or bust” and when they bust we lose.
  6. Johnson was a part of one of the most infamous scraps in the NFL and made the cut. So likely no… I personally believe it’s because the league likes to crap on anything Carolina related.
  7. Anybody else they face go against Keith Taylor and Henderson? One starter down at the position is manageable. 2? That’s a recipe for disaster.
  8. We are kidding ourselves if we think losing both our starting corners wasn’t going to result in Tom Brady and the best wideout tandem in the South from feasting. I think you guys are overestimating Wilks’ fault in this. This was the perfect storm of injury luck and bad matchups.
  9. Wilks is the biggest scapegoat we’ve had in a long while.
  10. We are on our third QB, traded away our best player, and out our two best players in the secondary. And we still came within a score of locking down this division. Our fans suck. Always have.
  11. I said in an earlier thread if we lose today it would be because we are out are two starting CBs. Those two chunk TDs to Evans sure made my case.
  12. I love it. Keep that foot on the gas mentality.
  13. If we lose tomorrow it will likely be because we are out both our starting corners. Pray that our offense can stay on the field to give our defense a chance because it could get ugly fast if they trend 3 and outs.
  14. Boger officiating our game is never “good” news.
  15. It appears many of the modern NFL’s successful teams have a game changing, pass catching TE on their roster. We need one badly if our offense is going to compete going forward. P.S. We miss you, 88!
  16. Somehow a guy with ideologies like yours calling for violence on someone that doesn’t fit in your circle just has an ironic aura to it.
  17. Steve Smith, at the age of 89, would still be the best wide out on this roster.
  18. I’m fine with him getting roughed up a little or losing in embarrassing fashion. But we shouldn’t be wishing for dudes to “leave on a stretcher.” We can be better than that.
  19. Don’t wish the guy or any guy for that matter physical harm. Don’t be THAT fan base, folks.
