Some of us preached it was much less about his knack for injury and much more about his utilization. The fact that he went the first 3 seasons without injury is astounding. Happy for the guy as he’s with a franchise who can actually utilize him and hope he gets a shot at a Lombardi.

Some of us are less shocked

They’d be smart to hold Corbett for the first few weeks to get him past the 9 month mark. Studies show risk of 2nd ACL injury can be reduced if return to sport is greater than 9 months.
-
For anyone wondering, current evidence has patients returning from ACL reconstruction post-9 months for optimizing injury prevention for second ACL injury in either the same or contralateral knee. This lines up closely with the 2023 regular season, so hopefully he won’t miss much time .

M Kaye Observer HC candidates pros and cons

Sign me up for Wilks HC and Reich OC. LFG -
Anything with two heads is a monster. Keep him as DC if they bring in a new HC. Plain and simple.

Need to draft this cat to compete with the Kelce’s and Kittle’s of the world.

Hekker was the MVP. I’ll take a win any day even if it’s an ugly one.

Probably a combination of both. We need so much. I for one hardly believe that either a HC or QB alone will fix this mess.

Literally forgot this dude existed

For the most part Sam has done a good job of not taking the sack today. I haven’t been clocking the snaps but he sure as hell doesn’t have a lot of time and every time they pan out no one is open.
-
That was definitely a bad throw. Everything else has been bad today with the exception of Hubbard. I’d give Foreman some love but that selfish retaliation is going to cost us way more than the Saints lost.

Obviously we have plenty of needs, the most pertinent determining who our next HC and starting QB will be. Outside of this we need to be looking at the rest of our offense. Specifically someone who can get open and catch a pass. DJ is too hot and cold. TMJ ain’t it. Our TEs can’t be relied on for anything other than blocking. CMC obviously masked this deficiency and it’s glaring what our identity has been the last several weeks which is severely problematic when your RB averages less than 3 yard per carry multiple weeks. Saints now have 2 young and hungry studs at the WR position and if they settle their QB position it will be the same song and dance we’ve seen in this division all over again via Michael Thomas, Julio Jones, and Mike Evans setting records on this secondary and us not being able to keep pace with scoring. You guys want an offensive minded HC? Great. We need some offensive players too.

Matt Rhule has a great track record of turning around programs too. How’d that work out? Grass isn’t always greener. For the record I’m not saying we should or shouldn’t retain him but to shoulder the blame solely on him for our woes is simply asinine.

So who do you realistically bring in if not Wilks? The overused meme is for the overused bitching in this joint. All complaints and no solutions.

Most Efficient Passing Game in the past 6 Weeks

Sam did enough to win those games if the running game wasn’t so abysmal. -

This. I have yet to see anyone blame our run game for our Steelers and Bucs losses respectively. Say what you will about CMCs injury history but the dude has played all year and I don’t ever recall a time where he averaged 2.3 yards per carry on multiple occasions. Our current tandem is the definition of “boom or bust” and when they bust we lose. -
Jim Harbaugh flirting with the Carolina Panthers UPDATE

Where does Michigan fall in this ranking through? -
Johnson was a part of one of the most infamous scraps in the NFL and made the cut. So likely no… I personally believe it’s because the league likes to crap on anything Carolina related.
