It’s not just the types of hit. It’s the fact that his body is built to play QB. A RBs body is built specifically for the position and in context should be more durable. He’s also wearing less padding than the RB. If it was such a simple point why is this concept so complex for you?

Our current staff has certainly done their part to ensure Bryce is successful and protected. I’m not bemoaning the pick either. Just thought the OP had a poor comparison. RB to QB is apples to oranges in every sense even if their height and weight are identical.

Yes, but the lineman have to decelerate to make a play in most instances. I think you’re just looking to argue and that’s fine. My main point is that comparing QB and RB positions in context of size is apples to oranges. They’re built completely different for different tasks. A RB may be hit more often but the types of hits a RB takes are complete different from that of a QB standing in the pocket. Especially if he’s unsuspecting of the hit.

In what universe does a RB intentionally barrel directly into a lineman? They find a gap, run through it, and if a lineman finds his way in that path it’s not the same as both accelerating in a straight line directly at one another. I think you missed the point.

A lesson in physics… Would you rather A) a 300lb lineman tackle you while you’re running as fast as you can opposite their direction or B) get tackled by the same 300lb lineman while you’re feet are planted in the ground with zero momentum on your side?

Blows my mind how quickly everyone went from “Young is too small to QB in the NFL” to “CJ is dumb and we’d be dumb to draft him.” The Koolaid has been deep throated. -
If I saw 4corners on the street I’d peel his muffin cap back blue

Guess we will see. I’m fine either way.

It’s Stroud. Always has been.

You guys are fun

Panthers are at #4 in the league over the last decade plus. You'd have to think if DG doesn’t go full retard with the Vernon Butler pick we’d likely be #1.

Young's built sturdier than Stroud per BMI

We will have to put in a good word with Zod for the “slice” option -

Was going to go with a beer on this one but it seems a pie is appropriate in context -

Well that confirms it. Stroud is the guy. -
If people wouldn’t drop false information causing endless pages of debate you mean. I don’t think reading is the issue when some have probably combed through 22 pages of it trying to decipher what’s accurate and what’s false.

Do we know?

They could be phasing out the silver at the same time as the blue correction. Both can be true and hopefully this is the case.

Ethnicity literally has nothing to do with my statement nor does it have any bearing on someone’s success in the NFL.

When I think of the all time QB greats, I don’t necessarily see “freak athlete” across the board. Not that those traits aren’t important to some degree.

Saw this one coming. But you have to admit that fans, especially those in the SEC, are loyal to a fault. Maybe the fact that they don’t think he’s worth the pick holds some water.

I could see it at pick 9. But #1 overall? He’s a much bigger gamble from what I’m seeing.
