    Short memory because all I remember is people whining before he got here that we never made splash moves and for the first year of his tenure they were drooling at all the moves he made. Hence the laser eyes.

Yeah, they can’t undo the past and go back in time to get two firsts for him but you know what’s worse than missing on an opportunity? Doubling down on your stubbornness and getting squat for him next year while we watch him underperform this year.

    Objectively we should be neutral. While a win is a win there still work to be done. Frank not calling the plays didn’t have us looking significantly better.

    Yeah but let’s say you get 4-5 games per season based on the local coverage of your area. That’s $80-100 saved even at $20/game if you’re watching every game of the season.

    That’s about all I want. What they really mean is that they can charge more for packages. It’s the same reason you have to buy 5 streaming platforms to watch all the shows you like.

    Yeah. All things considered the Bear’s contract seems comically cheap compared to Sanders.

    Yeah… for any of the folks on here who aren’t great at math, his contract with the Bears is essentially half the cost of Sanders per year and they aren’t on the hook for him for 4 years if he blows. We can tap dance around the issue all we want but our front office dropped the ball hard on this one.
