  1. Objectively we should be neutral. While a win is a win there still work to be done. Frank not calling the plays didn’t have us looking significantly better.
  2. We still scored <20 points and one the game by less than a score. Let’s all calm down and just enjoy the win.
  3. Yeah but let’s say you get 4-5 games per season based on the local coverage of your area. That’s $80-100 saved even at $20/game if you’re watching every game of the season.
  4. I wanted Josh Downs. Dude is balling out for Indy.
  5. That’s about all I want. What they really mean is that they can charge more for packages. It’s the same reason you have to buy 5 streaming platforms to watch all the shows you like.
  6. He did it with Cam too so at least he’s loyal to the franchise
  7. I have little hope. That said this team always finds a way to do the opposite of what makes logical sense.
  8. Reich’s record as HC after the bye week. May the odds be ever in our favor.
  9. No picks. Player for player swaps and hopefully add picks or full stop.
  10. I give you a hard time on here but I’m genuinely happy for you, and your pursuit of your family is inspiring. Ball out my man. Just make sure you teach those boys how to fish. Metaphorically speaking.
  11. Yeah. All things considered the Bear’s contract seems comically cheap compared to Sanders.
  12. The Bears signing makes it appear as though we low-balled him. Anyone know what the offer was?
  13. Yeah… for any of the folks on here who aren’t great at math, his contract with the Bears is essentially half the cost of Sanders per year and they aren’t on the hook for him for 4 years if he blows. We can tap dance around the issue all we want but our front office dropped the ball hard on this one.
  14. Something something …too many Burns threads… something something
  15. It was implied that I meant guys that teams would be conflicted to keep around if not for the salary cap. You're just being a contrarian at this point.
  16. Now you’re comparing apples to oranges. Every dude you just mentioned were JAG QBs with the exception of Cam who was a shell of himself when we neglected to sign him. No one was expecting them to leave here and make noise. And they haven’t. Can’t say the same for Moore, Foreman, CMC, etc.
  17. Am I being dramatic or just speaking facts? About the only situation I can think of that’s been positive for us is Theilen coming from MN. But they literally have a generational WR in Jefferson so who really cares when you let the old man walk. Sounds like you’re being an organizational apologist. If you enjoy mediocrity that’s fine. But I’m going to call it like it is.
  18. There’s a whole lot of “could be” and “should be.” It’s an organization’s job to weigh those odds. Teams that have signed or traded for our former players are batting 1000. That’s the point.
  19. I’m talking about this year. I care more when a guy can be productive with a less than stellar line and weapons around him than a guy who thrives off everyone around him. Sanders did well with a perfect offense around him last year. Big whoop.
  20. This is the point. We could have kept him, had way better production than Sanders. Even if he was playing 2nd to Hubbard.
